- kt replies to JCthis number is a phishing call, i called microsoft and they said they have been hacked
& this microsoft number is being used by hackers to dupe you into allowing them to hack into your computer to add malware. the best open tion is do not answer or if you do, do not allow them to access your computer. I have had over 20 calls and if I decide to answer them, sthey will give you the same name, an address on boston street and then say the facility is located in san jose,ca. the giveaway is they pronounce san jose as san joesay.

Readers:
Honest computer companies do NOT cold-call people, or cause popups from websites to tell them their computers need fixing!
Some scammers even have websites, and falsely advertise they are associated with popular software packages or computer companies; so do NOT believe a "we will fix your computer remotely" site, and allow them access to your computer!

I have them on call block. It's been going on for weeks. Why doesn't Microsoft step up and work to shut them down? It says Microsoft on the caller id.
