Masquerades as a medical assistance company but is really a debt collector.  Note that they have an office in Mumbai, India and Amherst, NY

MedAssist Web Site indicates that they are indeed a debt collector:  http://medassistsolutions.com/healthcare-solutions/.  It also indicates that it is a subsidiary of firstsource which also indicates that it is a debt collector on their web site:  http://www.firstsource.com/contactus.aspx

They list addresses in Mumbai, India, and Amherst, NY, both known havens for criminal debt collection operations.

Yup I did the same. they call me and want me to verify information? I didn't call, you are calling me.!! I don't trust giving my personal information.

Yes, I just received a call @ 11:41 AM today from First Source Medical Resouces.  They call me from 18006454382, and the young lady was asking me to verify personal information as well.  They called me on my job, and I had to tell the lady this was against the law and to removal the number.  She was acting ugly on the phone.  Please beware of this FAKE call or FALL DEBT COLLECTOR CALL.

Spanish speakers are not a race. They are an ETHNIC  group comprised of many races who share a culture. You however, are ignorant and  a bigot but she cannot possibly be a racist since they are not a race. She has the right to be annoyed.

Call to home number..... no message left. I called back from anon number, and recording comes on "Thank  you for calling our office, please hold for next available representative, this call may be recorded, blah blah, blah.... and it is in English and Spanish".....after being on hold for several minutes and hearing this message repeatedly, a live person came on. I asked her the name of her company (recording only said 'our office", and she asked me what number I was calling from. Told her I didn't give that out, and asked again the name of thecompany and the location. She said "First Advantage" -- and wouldn't tell me what they did. (Believe it is a debt SCAM company). Asked her location and she said Miami, Florida.  Asked street address and local number. Said they were located at 7789 Northwest 48th Street in Miami, but she could not give a local number.  I suspect it is a SCAM, with them trying to collect bogus debts, or get you to give out credit card info....

Hummm...  You know there is nothing wrong with speaking the english language in a country that speaks english.
In France they have a law that requires people in France to speak the french language.  Are all French people racist too?  France is way more liberal/socialist than we here in the US have ever come close to being.

They called and left a message in yawn talk,,,,, how professional.

The law, more precisely, makes French the official/legal language of France, it doesn't require "people in France to speak the french language."

I spoke to three different people, they were all very no not very they are extremely rude. Won't tell you why they are calling, won't say companies name. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

You do know that con artists aren't well known for planning past the present time, don't you? They're relying on whatever bogus pitch they're dumb enough to come up with to work so they don't bother thinking of a company name, or why they're calling. I believe that the company name and all the information you need on them has been posted right here on this very page.  You will need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation letter in addition to filing complaints at the federal and state agencies I have linked to.

They knew my name and asked me to verify my date of birth. I asked what they did and their response was:

“we are a business that does business things, we need you to verify your DOB before giving out more info”

Calling from health advantage, mentioned the hospital Baptist health. If I remember correctly Imy insurance was supposed to cover all these charges that range from $800-1,000. I’m in complete disbelief of these current scams .

They also called from 608-371-6666– left a msg — very fast talking person “Cesaer” — left my spouse’s name and a ref number,
And said “this is from a debt collector” and left the name of the company – First Advantage – and their East Coast office hours.
This organization has NOT sent any mail regarding any debt, which is required under federal law, therefore I believe it is a SCAM. And I have now block this number.
