Robocall for credit card services.  The robovoice said they had been trying to reach me and I could press 1 to speak to someone, or 2 to let all my credit card options expire.  Just another time waster.

Caller ID was Sears, but same voice and scam as robo fake call from spoofed Discover card. These criminals spoof names on caller id. Hang up! Scam!

Recorded message: Debt Reduction Scam.
"This is an important message regarding your current credit card account. We have made several attempts to reach you. This is your final courtesy call before we are unable to lower your credit card interest rate. Press 1 to speak to the Member Services Department. Or press 2 and your eligibility to lower your rate will expire. "

Sears credit card services

Same old recorded call about lowering credit card interest.  It looks like they spoofed a Sears credit card phone number this time.  I pressed 2 to opt out of the calls as stated in their recording, but it didn't work.  They keep calling on different numbers.                                                                                                                                  There is an actual program to reduce credit card interest.  I suggest you call or contact your credit card company yourself (using the phone number on your card or statement since there are some fake web sites) because these scammers have been known to charge a "service fee" on your card up to $1500 for making this 5 minute call for you.

You could contact your credit card company(s) so that they can put an alert on your account to watch for abnormal activity.

Apparently the lower your credit card interest rate scam spoofing yet another legitimate number. I get 4 to 5 of those calls daily spoofing legitimate numbers or neighbor spoofing. All from boiler rooms manned by Indians with virtually the same script. They’ll take any card you give them in an attempt to steal your information.

Scum sucker camel humpers from India and Pakistan are trying to get your credit card numbers by saying they are Card Services!  Yep, they will service your credit card by selling ypur information onto the black market!  Will open other cards in your name, ect.  Dont fall for this Scam!  But I sure do have fun waisting their time for the last nine years by keeping them on the phone for as long as possible by asking them all kinds of questions till they get flustered, start cussing and all!!  Be careful out there folks!

I received a call from this number at 6:13 PM EST. I answered and they hung up. The government need to close down the companies that offer spoofing services. These spoofing companies needs to be sued.

There are no "spoofing companies".  This is computer software being used.

Do you REALLY expect professionalism from a boiler room scammer? Hmmm maybe he IS a professional scammer. He has probably already been called everything in several languages too. ;)
I just hung up on it as soon  as I heard the robocall start and added the number to my call block blacklist.

Caller said, after several attempts, this was final notice to allow reduction in my credit card interest rate. I don't have credit card balances. Useless call from useless telemarketer.

This call came in at 5:30 A.M. there is no credit card company that starts working at that time in the morning. Be careful do not give them any info. They ask for your acct number or social security number. Caller ID says Sears Credit Card I do not have a card from them or want one at 5:30 in the morning do not whatever you do enter your SSN

Recording talking about lowering my credit card interest rates.  I pressed 2 to be removed, but then the line started ringing.  A foreign (Indian?) sounding voice came on the line and told me that I was eligible for a reduction in my interest rates.  I told him that I don't have any credit cards.  He said that he shows that I have multiple credit cards.  I told him I don't.  He then said "let me check" and there was silence for about 10 seconds.  He came back on the line and said he showed multiple credit cards, and then asked for my last name.  I said "You don't have my last name?  How do you know I have multiple credit cards, but don't have my last name?"  I said "How can you claim that I have multiple credit cards when you don't even know my last name? Do you even know who you're talking to?"  He hung up at that.
