- z1queenieCalling from credit services to tell me this was my last chance to lower my rates. CID just said "toll free call." I pressed 1 when I got the option to speak to a CSR. I told her please take me off their list. Then she said something to me and I almost fell off my couch. She told me to shut up. I said did you really just tell me to shut up and she said yes. I then told her she could f*** off and die. Another call to block.

- Motown_MrsLike others said, the CID says "SEARSCREDITCARD" just like that. But it was really one of the fake "credit services" spam calls. A recorded message about lowering my interest rate.

- Linda. Yesterday I got a call from "Walmart Card" @1-866-111-1148. I thought it might be yet another bill collector looking for someone. I get several calls looking for people that do not live here. The woman with a thick Indian accent put me on hold. I hung up. Today at 7:08 am my time, I got a call from "Sears Credit Card" @ 1-800-669-8488. Since I knew the previous call was a scam, I didn't reply to the number on my caller ID. So sick of this crap with these scammers. Last week my phone called me at home using my phone # according to the call ID. These POS from overseas can cover their own phone #s using our phone #s.

- ASC replies to JRBecause of JR’s comment, I looked up Caller ID Spoofing.”
Caller left no message. But it was a legitimate business number. I try to tag all questionable calls.
Caller ID spoofing is the process of changing the caller ID to any number other than the calling number. Scammers are now using a number from a company or a government agency.

- CatherineThis number, legitimate Sears or spoofed, calls every day several times a day. It's annoying, Harrassing and illegal. Sometimes it's a robocall about lowering credit card interest rates, always stating it's the last chance. Other times they say nothing, leave no message and if I answer there's a long pause then a hang up. I blocked the number then unblocked it and they called again so now have it blocked again.
