Never heard from this number until twice today.  My apple account has been hacked so don't download any apps.  Really ticks me off because they leave a voice message unlike other robocalls.  The message is giving me options to press one, etc.  Blocking them.  They are calling my landline and not my cell which is strange.

Definitely a SCAM call. Beware !

Scammer debt collector using fake names and numbers to get your information.

Recorded message (captured on voicemail) saying my Apple account has been breached and was locked "to prevent fraud." Told to either press 1 to speak to a "security specialist" or call back at 800-694-8578. Uh no.

SCAM - As reported by cybersecurity website KrebsInSecurity, phone scammers are at it again. This time, they're spoofing Apple's real support number 1-800-MY-APPLE (800-692-7753) to dupe unsuspecting iPhone owners into thinking that there was a data breach.

Just got a robocall with the caller ID displaying "apple" and the message said that my iCloud account has been breached and I do need to push 1 to talk to someone.

Too bad for the scammers I have never had anything Apple, never had an Apple device, and certainly do not have an iCloud account...

It is most likely a scam, please proceed cautiously or better yet, ignore!

Today 5/7/19 I received another (I believe this is the 4th or 5th time) RoBo from this number indicating "my cloud has been breached."  I have Never had a "cloud" account and Never Will

The number is really Apple, someone is spoofing the number. My computer is not even plugged in broke for 5 months, so if it’s sending out error messages it’s a computer Miracle.

Although labeled as Spam, the ID says "Chevron". Left a blank message.

You'd think by now Apple would have done something. IF the number is really theirs I doubt if the FCC can't do anything without their aid

Wow - guess this scam has been going on for awhile.
Recorded call received from (800) 692-7753 with a name displayed as Apple Inc.  Message was as others have gotten, breach in Apple account, don't use any Apple devices.  For support call (866) 209-1175.

Called landline at 3:00 PM, CID Apple.  Left partial message, but was of poor quality so this was likely a scam call.  I don't have any Apple being repaired, or other issues, so no reason to call me.  Most likely a scam using a spoofed Apple phone number.

this number just called me and left a voicemail for 23 seconds that was nothing but silence.

I did not answer the call. They did not leave a voice mail. When I called the number back it said "Thank you for calling Apple." However, I do not have any outstanding calls with Apple, nor have I contacted them for any reason, so I don't believe this was a valid call. I believe someone spoofed the number.
