calls every day at noon....a real nuisance

Spoof...scam...whatever. Called three times today. Also using numbers 800-900-9009 & 800-900-9000. Message left claiming "Apple Support". Ignore them. Don't answer.

Many reports on other sites about Apple SCAM!

I missed several calls from this number in the past two days.  Considering the posts here I am not exactly heart broken that I missed the calls.  I was on jury duty.  For those of you who complain about jury duty, think of the options:  sitting in a court house, or being home to receive baloney phone calls from scammers trying to sell fake Apple support.  They are the ones who should be on trial.

Spoofing  a legit Apple Customer Support phone number.
Recording says suspicious activity has shut down yourApple Acct press 1 to talk with someone to reactivate your account.

I do not own an apple product. Didn't answer. Blocked.

New trick: it came up as Chevron on my phone. Let it go to voice mail. Blocked now.

This catller has called on several occassions. On thier voice mails they mention Apple and thier devices.
We do not have any Apple devices at this location. Obviously, they are not due a return call.
A total waste of everybody's time!

Receiving calls but no message is left.

This number called me 5 times in a span of a minute. I kept hitting "Decline" and within seconds the phone would start ringing again. I never answered and it finally stopped.

Just received a call at 11am PST on 5/22/19 from this # 800-692-7753. My carrier Verizon actually identified it as  CHEVRON, AND I have a Google Pixel phone, not an iPhone. Verizon auto capture feature to potentially ID  spam calls, did so and said it was Chevron. I didn't answer.

Recording "Your I Cloud account has been breached......"bullsh*t SCAM! Told the man with an Asian accent in not so nice words that he was nothing but a scammer, to get a real job, some morals and integrity and to stop trying to scam people! He tried to talk over me, but that didn't work and he finally hung up! So sick of these idiot jacka$$es!!!

The actual number they are using (spoofing) is an Apple Store in Buffalo, NY according to white pages. But this is nothing but a scam. BEWARE!

Just got call from this number. CID said Apple. Yeah..right. The scammers are out there today. Earlier I had cell phone call from a number i looked up involving an SSN scam. Beware!

Left no message but dead air. Thanks for the info, blocking the call.

the computerized voice cut in and out so much that I could not tell what the scam was. I did hear: "account has been breached".

I just noticed a possible calling pattern by this "Apple."
They first called me on 23 April in the 7:00 PM hour and the next day 24 April in the 1:00 PM hour.
They next called me on 23 May in the 7:00 PM hour and the next day 24 May in the 1:00 hour.
Hardly a random occurrence.  Almost certainly some kind of a dialing algorithm is being used.
I'll be looking for them on 23 June unless the government shuts them down first.  Right!!

This is absolutely ridiculous... it’s a holiday & I’ve gotten 8 calls from this & SimilaR #’s - ALL A SCAM. The govt doesn’t do ANYTHING about this [***] problem & now my phone is still ringing off the hook - my mom-in-law, who is 84 was scammed last week & we spent all day filing a police report since she accidentally gaVe  $ . This is nuts! When will it stop?!?!?!???!!!!
