This was robo-call scam claiming to be from Apple tech support. Do not answer and do not give them any personal information!!
And they called at 6:45 pm while I was eating dinner!

FAKE APPLE SUPPORT NUMBER! DO NOT ANSWER!!

Two incoming calls from this number within an hour, on a holiday, after 4PM. No message left either time. Others here have said it's an Apple number, but if legit, why wouldn't they leave a message? Also, ZERO Apple products in our household, and we're on the Do Not Call Registry.

Suspect a spoofed number / scam... blocked.

Someone spoofing Apple support.

Calls and calls and never leaves a message sometimes two or three times a day. I answered once and it was a robot voice talking about very important information about my account.

I was "cold called" by people stating they were Apple technical support. My i cloud has been breached and they wanted to fix it. I hung up the phone and I'm posting this blog.

Male recorded call telling me my Apple device had a serious threat and my account has been locked. Only problem is I've never owned any Apple electronics or had an Apple account. Then it said to push1 to talk to security. A scam!

They call and say that my Icloud account has a security breach.  Press 1 to speak.  I finally did and it goes to an Indian sounding guy saying I was hacked by Nigerians and they needed to install a program on my devices so it could fix it.  ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!  Who falls for this crap?  I told them NOPE!  NOT HAPPENING  and hung up.

Indian scammer (I recognized the accent) trying to tell me that I had issues with my Apple devices. I told him that he had the wrong fruit in mind. I prefer Blackberry.

Received a call fro this telephone number. No message was left. Caller ID said "APPLE". I do not own any Apple products, so, safely labeling this one as "spam". No callback was attempted.

unknown caller will not identify self so i say scammer

Spoofed call using Apple's real support number from a scammer saying my Apple device is compromised. We have zero Apple devices. Be very, careful. They want your info.

I got a call from this number at 1343 today.  "Apple" spoofer, I think

Called my cell and left no message. AT&T flagged it as spam. I have never owned an Apple anything, so clearly a scam call. Blocked now.

This number just called. ID: Apple. Left message concerning an internet breech and to press 1 to access Apple Support. Even if I ever owned any Apple product, which I never have, and never will, I would not be pressing 1 or any other number. Don't pick this one up. Block it instead.

I’ve been reading the notes above and am stunned that so many of you are still convinced that this is REAL. I was taken by them...so I know first hand. I was able to close out my credit cards...but they still hacked my Amazon acct as well as my Netflix acct. & attempted to hack my bank account as well as my cell phone. They are relentless once they get ANY personal info from you!!! PLEASE BLOCK THEIR CALLS!!!!!

Caller ID says Apple. Never leaves a message. I don't have anything from Apple.

Obvious ROBO call with spoofed Apple ID.  I got calls last month from (800) 275-2273 which was a spoofed Apple phone number where they said something about my Apple account being hacked.  The recordings didn't ask for any one by name which is a big clue this was a scam.  It sounds like they are trying the same scam from a different spoofed number.  I don't have any Apple devices.
