This call came in on our home landline with the name shown as "Unavailable" and the number as "Out of area." Nice start, huh? A female voice left a message something like this: "Please make it a priority to return this call concerning a matter of personal importance." Or maybe it was a matter of "urgent importance." Then the number 800-695-2780 was stated twice. Strange, I feel no need to return a call from Unavailable / Out of area.

I returned the call, recording told me Comenity Bank and asked me to enter my account number followed by the # sign.  I put a dummy #, then it asked me for the last 4 digits of my social security #...I hung up.

Comenity uses lots of numbers but only a hand full of area codes, so if you don't have call blocking just ignore these area codes...

Got a message from 800-695-2780, said it was Comminity Capital Bank and wanted me to return their call. NEVER HEARD OF THEM !!!

Second call from this number in a few short days, my phone never rings but a voicemail populates. The female voice says what sounds like "This is Capital Bank calling. Please make it a priority to return this call concerning a matter of personal importance." I have very very limited store credit cards (Children Place and Home Depot) both with current zero balances. I won't be returning this call, not with all the current scams going on. Call also comes up unknown on my mobile phone.

They left 2 messages stating they were Comenity Capital Bank and I needed to return the phone call it was of urgent importance they left their number twice. I called back kept pressing 0 and pound when it asked for account number and social security number. I got to a representative who told me it was regarding my Victoria's Secret account and something to do with late fees and that I should set up a debit payment with her. She just needed me to confirm my information. I told her I would feel more comfortable accessing my account online. She said that was fine and to have a good day. I checked my account online and there was a zero balance. Something does not add up here.

This is for an in store credit card. They cover more then just 1 store. Ulta, and Zales I know for sure.

Someone called from this number stating they were from Community Capital Bank.  I did not answer but they left a voice mail. I am sure it's a scam

Got call from 614-754-4051 they left message to call 800-695-2780.  Called 800-695-2780 it says Community Capital Bank.  Google Community Capital Bank.  They were closed by the FDIC in 2011.  They are no longer a legit company but once upon a time had a legit name.  Some scammer is call-blasting folks and trying to look legit to capture your info.  Don't give in.

Said to call them back about a very personal matter.  Also said they're a bank

NOT A SCAM.  This number is for an HSN credit card account as my father has one. .

This is a scam.  They try to obtain your credit card information.
