This number keeps calling.  Says her name is Melissa from USAA regarding my savings account.  I contacted USAA and they stated they did not use this number and would report to FTC.  The caller had my name almost, but not fully correct.  Do not answer!

Called me, ignored.

Got a phone message from Kelly at USAA the other day. "Kelly" what to do an annual review of my annuity. I returned the call but a female who answered did not know "Kelly" but assured me that she could answer my questions if I would provide my name and phone number. I gave her my first name and asked her what was the department at USAA where she worked. She said she worked at LQ Digital. I asked again, "What department?" She said she was in the call center. I asked her to give me the number of the Annuity Department. She absolutely would note provide the number, but she could transfer me to that department if I would give her my last name. I ended the call.

I got that call too. I called usaa and it was not them . It is a scam

several calls past few days-  02-15-2022.   Sometimes I cannot hear a garbled message and sometimes no message.  It is not the normal USAA number so i feel it is not from USAA.     Wish they would stop bothering me.

I got this exact call yesterday.  No USAA caller id, it says unknown.  I think this is a scam...why would USAA call after all these years and say that they are now worried I have too much money in savings and they want me to put it in something else.  Weird and if USAA is selling my info I want them to stop.

Asking for specific individual but hardly speaks intelligible English so hard to know what the message said. Did not sound like usual USAA staff. Sounded like someone in another country.

I received a call from this number as well. I didn’t pick up. I don’t trust anybody portraying to be from an financial institution

I received a voicemail from 800-748-4843 yesterday claiming to be from USAA, promoting financial products. I called USAA & asked if someone from their financial services called me. And the lady rep checked their call log. And told me, no one has called me yesterday. So it must be a scam!

Woman said she was with some company, I could not understand what she said, it just sounded like "nor", calling on behalf of USAA, regarding my recent inquiry about annuities. I have not inquired about annuities, but, I did recently search for info about annuities on their website. I guess they consider that an inquiry? But if they're tracking what I do when logged onto their website, that's a little disturbing.

I'm certain this is a scam.  I did not inquiry about any annuity, as "Nora" suggested.  They had my name incorrect (middle instead of first).  USAA would never outsource this stuff or peddle like this.  My info was recently hacked so I'm sure my phone number has been shared with other scamming organizations.  They now think I'm an easy target.

Woman calling "on behalf of USAA" wanting to tell me about products "they" have that earn a better interest rate than my savings account.  Suspect that this is a telemarketing call.

Just got 2 calls from this same number(15 Mar 22).Caller I’d said usaa but when I answered both calls all I heard was a clicking sound. Immediately hung up and blocked. Possible scam into my banking.. not sure.

Calling to review my annuity from USAA. I believe that I’m capable to call USAA myself if I wanted any changes!

VOICE mesaage from this number today. I could hear birds chirping in the background before caller stated she was from USAA and was calling back about my recent inquiry about a deposit. Never happened. Pure lies and a scam. Will be reporting to USAA.

Received a strange message claiming to be from USAA wanting to review my retirement.  I suspect it is a scam and have not, nor will not return the call.  The caller was not identified as being from USAA on the screen for incoming calls.  I am a member of USAA.

This number called.  Caller ID was the number.  It is blocked (all 800-7's are blocked by me).  Checked on-line to see what it was.  In reading some of the reports here the LQ Digital rung a bell.  Checked it out.  Here is what I found on-line:  "USAA and LQ Digital are working together to better serve you. LQ Digital is a trusted provider who helps connect you with USAA by phone. ... When calling on behalf of USAA, they only call you from one of the following phone numbers."  Of which this number is one.  So it appears legit, but, I'm of the same opinion as expressed by others here, I don't want these calls made to me.  So I'll keep the number blocked.

Called me about 6 times claiming to reinvest some savings that could accumulate a lot more....scammers

Answered the unidentified number because expecting a delivery with 30-minute advanced notice.  Female caller purported to be with USAA wanting to talk about CD rates.  USAA isn't the company it once was, but they have never (55 years) initiated a phone call to sell us anything.  Am certain this is a SCAM!  The caller spoke good English without an accent.  She was pretty d... good.  Many might be taken by her smooth approach.
