They offered me a retirement plan.

USAA calling to reviewing my accounts and ensure my retirement planning is on track to meet my goals, blah, blah, blah ...

Garbage.

Called and said that I owe them $4600 dollars.  That in 2021 I called them to fix my computer which is a lie because if I needed to have my computer fixed my husband would take care of it.  They had my card number and address.  Called the bank and they put scam alert on the card because the company said that they would charge me regardless.  Some how they got my card, address, and phone number.  The guy I spoke to said his name is Michael Hall Yoshida.  Please beware - also called from 1-844-789-7477.  Came up as Gillett TX.

Received call from this number. USAA has never called me before. Not sure if it is a scam but…..

Wouldn't it be great if USAA had a known, published phone number that you could call them on?  Maybe they could put it on their official website, your bank statement, or even the back of your credit/debit card?  Why don't you go over there and suggest that to them?

It’s June, 2024 and they’re  still making these calls. My caller ID show that it comes from USAA, All that means They put that as Number. I blocked them.

THIS IS A SCAM...PLAIN AND SIMPLE. No one from USAA is going to call you at 8pm at night and then transfer you to the ONE That can help you right away. I'll almost fell for this until that happened. When they wanted to discuss everything right away at 8pm at night...I knew it was a SCAM. I called the the number back and it immediately put you on a 2 second hold and then picked up the phone and said Thank you for calling USAA. ANYONE that is a USAA Member knows you have to go through a verification process for WAY too long before you can actually speak with a representative.  Think about it!!!

They said they represented USAA and were selling annuities. They tried to transfer me to a salesperson, and I declined. Called at 7:30 pm. Pretty disgusted if USAA sold our information to a 3rd party telemarketer.

Found on USAA website this was a legitimate #from a Company approved by USAA to promote USAA services.  I found the option to ask for my contact information to not be shared.  I am highly disappointed with ISAA allowing this.  The caller said the were USAA and that the call was based on my recent interest/inquiry of annuities.  I’ve not inquired….so that was not legitimate.  Bad form on USAA!!!

Just because the number is legitimate doesn't mean that the caller is.  I guess you have never, ever heard of "Caller ID Spoofing"?

Did not leave a message. I called the number back and a woman answered and was asking too many questions. I kept replying "you called me, tell me what you want." I finally hung up and called the regular USAA number and was told nobody from USAA had called me today.

Said from USAA and wanted to connect me to a representative about my interest in an IRA.  I have never inquired about an IRA.  Research shows this is LQ Digital which USAA uses to connect to its members regarding products and services.  USAA provides them with our name and number.  USAA has posted about this at https://www.usaa.com/support/lq-digital/.  IMHO, this is a bit of sleazy marketing.  USAA....you can do better than this.
