Just get one of the new phones that have the program on it to disconnect the number you program in it. When you learn the number is one you dont want to deal with, or some one you choose not to speak to. you program the number in and your phone automatically disconnects and you answering machine is not full of junk.  I have one for the home. And I never give any business my cell, so they dont have it yet lol.

LOL you cant sue until you tell collectors not to call. you'll lose and have to be out even more money for attorney fees. yore a reel smarty hur hur hur.

not illegal for collectors to call on bills. not illegal in MOST states to call cellphones, and I only say most because i havent heard of any states where it is. what should be illegal is getting services rendered at hospitals and people not paying their bills.

FDCPA does apply to you though and you dont' follow the rules!!! Nice try~

Just received the second call from this number in two days, so I called them back after reading the posts here.  Was connected to a young lady who explained they were trying to contact someone named "A. Gilstrap".  Not me and not even close to my last name.  They were calling my cellphone anyway and it's a Tracphone to boot!  They were probably given a random number by the person they're trying to contact and just so happens, it turns out to be my cell.  The young lady didn't say whether or not the calls would continue but, at this point, I'll have to assume they won't  because she said they had the wrong number.  We'll see.

after searching online for this number after showing up on my caller id, and read it was collections, i called to see what it was about, spoke with a gentleman at extension 8660 that was very helpful and polite, offered me discount to pay my balance off. i guess it just depends on who you speak with in the collection industry if they are rude or not.

please stop calling me. you have the wrong number i have told u . this is a prepaid phone that cost minutes just to answer you and to say AGAIN u have the wrong number!

These lame ass ppl have been calling for months but never leave a vm or even reply when I answer the call. Come on get it right you [***] clowns. If I owe then have the courtesy to speak when I answer the call or leave a message stating the nature of your business with me instead of wasting my time with your petty [***]. If only I knew who was making these calls I could pay you by burying my foot up your ass..... I'm just saying.

My mother has always paid her debts.  She never exits a place of service that she does stop at the billing office first.  She lives on less than $800 a month so she told them that she could not afford payments of $150 a month.  Her tithes comes first, domicile second, and then her debts.  Because she is disabled, she definitely has more than the one health bill to pay.  She pays no less than $25 to each bill: however, this is never enough.  They either call and harass her for not paying what they feel is adequate or they call 3-4 times a day and hang up.  Despite this highly unprofessional way of doing things and rudeness when someone is actually on the line, my mother continues to send them no less than $25 each and every month.  There have even been times when she has been blessed and she will pay them more.  My mother will never complain, however, she will just continue to pay and pray for those who are less fortunate.

We get calls to our office for one of our employees. If debt collectors are going to call people that owe them money, they should not be calling places of business. It is not the employers responsibility to put up with debt collectors.

The caller was rude and did not identify himself or where he was calling from!!!!!!!! They also need to stop calling on all hours of the day and night especially when they are told that that number does not belong to who they are looking for!!!!!!

You are an idiot!! I am disabled and going through what I am told is a 2 year process for benefits, I had to give information and verify information that included everything except how many bowel movements a day I have. It is humiliating and degrading. The funny part is I have insurance - I just can not affort - nor do I have the means to pay the $15K in copays ( which is constantly growing). Oh , yes - they will pay these - eventually. In the meantime I have calls coming from pompous [***] like you!~

Talk about a smart - but dumb bill collector. It makes no difference if we tell you that it is not the correct number or that you do not know the person. I keep getting calls (some it seems like they come every other day). I tell them it is not correct. They think you are lying (I guess) . So don't be so arrogant!

I sas in the hospital for 2 weeks, I agreed to everything because i was told my insurance would cover 80%. after i got out i got a nifty little letter from my insurrance company that they were only going to cover like 10,000 out of a half million dollar bill. so now collectors call me, i don't know were they think im gona get half a million but my phone has a reject list. so when i get calls they go strait to voice mail and all i get is amessage saying missed call. also if any of you want to get paid at all, combine your bills all togather. i am not going to spend hours trying to sourt through your bills to figure out what is what.

Now as someone mentioned earlier PASI is wholly owned by COMMUNITY HEALTH SYSTEMS INC at 4000 MERIDIAN BLVD. FRANKLIN,  TN  37067-6325. You can go to their website http://chs.net/hospitals/map.html and see which of their properties is trying to get $3.000 for an overnight stay that time they decided you needed a heart cath  for indigestion, or believe it or not some go to the emergency room because they can't get a ride tot the doctor.

They are still bottom feeding debt collectors but they are not scam artists. Artist implies passion and this is merely survival. Theirs and ours. If not for debt collectors we would be back to blaming lawyers and that's like blaming politicians, totally useless. You can't be good at either and care about what's right. In the end what we hate most is what we have let the world become.

Wow! First of all I would like to say You Go Girl!  Cancer took my grandmother and almost my mother. I cannot believe the nerve of these people! I wouldn't wish any of our medical situations on anyone but, really? The only reason why hateful money hungry employees get away with it is God only gives you  what u can handel.  Strong  individuals like us. Unfortunately the weak rude ones would break!  My brother whom was my hero passed away at the same hospital I'm being treated so rudely at. How about answering this one? How can an individual staff member look at my brothers little girl while he is only hours from taking his last breath and respond back when she ask how's is my daddy nurse's replie we'll he ain't getting any better while she's slapping him in the face with hoses! Or how about this one after unplugging my brother from life support mother on one side father on the other. His three beautiful girls whom will never have their father walk them down the aile! Like he was suppose to for me that summer! All brothers, sister friends so many people who loved him packed the intensive care unit waiting for him to take his last breath you hear you all need to be considerate of the other patience keep it DOWN! I just can't even grasp it! My brother took his last breath only two hours before his birthday and his first born daughters birthday. My bro making damn sure his daughter would not have her dads passing and her 18 birthday on the same day of his passing.... Now I'm back dealing with the rude employees again! On the anniversary of my brother I was rushed into that same hospital already having lost one baby at my work and the other being removed from my tubes! Only to get treated horrible. The ones I'm talking about know who u are and u are in the wrong field of work!
