I just got a call from this number and caller I.d. came up Valley Thrift Store out of California! I am in Al. Thrift Store my jazz!!! STOP CALLING ME!!

Get several calls a day from this number. Reject it every time.

They are freemasons, VALLY THRIFT STORE, refers to a masonic lodge, they store all hard coppies of freemason authinticity, rank, enrolment papers, ect. IF YOU ANSER THEYRE QUESTIONS. they will have enough to falsely recruit you as a freemason, WEATHER YOU WANT TOO BE ONE OR NOT. Do not confirm your adress. If you have its too late, you will then be sent invitations, i work for these people. Its a colt. That is all i can say.

Calling private after 7pm not bussiness hours asking to much personal information

I received a call from this number yesterday between 3:30 pm and 4:00 pm EDT.  No voice mail was left.

Left call back number as 800-822-8383, but called from 301-234-6184

They called me and had my phone number and address. That was extremely odd.

Received a call on my cell from this number about 3:30 p.m. today. No voice mail message left.

Nasty calls. I want them to stop calling me!!!

I received a call from this number a few minutes ago, but I have two apps on my phone that identifies callers and one stated that the caller was Valley Thrift Store and the other app identified the caller as Nationwide Recovery Services. I have talked with a representative with the company in the past and they are looking for a gentleman that had this phone number previously. Unfortunately they continue to call me even after explaining that I do not know who the person is that they are trying to locate! It is unfortunate that they are now resorting to falsifying their number in hopes of tricking people in to answering the phone!
I have placed the following apps on my phone so that they can no longer leave any more messages... REVERSE LOOKUP, which identifies almost all callers unless they are blocked or unlisted, CALL CONTROL, which allows you to add any number to a block list where they are unable to leave a voice or text message, and TRUE CALLER, which is pretty much the same as CALL CONTROL, I installed both so that I have a back up app just in case!

The same just happened to me.. the guy would not answer my questions and kept telling me he would call back another time Bc I was confused. But it was him.. I asked what he was callin from and he said Cleveland TN..and I told him not the place the company and would not answer me so I had a few choice words n hung up.

Live operator called and asked for unknown person. Instead of just hanging up how I normally would, I politely said, "I'm sorry you have the wrong number". He preceded to ask me was I sure and how long I've had this number. I hung up in his face! I've been having this number for over 2 years and the first time I even heard the name he asked for!

It keeps calling, called back, just music, no answer...I have never been to the store it says it is on the caller ID....

I just read the above.  First, it's deadly obvious it's not legit.  There is no way a thrift store would have your number.  If you shop at them then you know which ones you shop at.  Regardless why would THEY be calling YOU?  Supposing you answer, then of course you've picked up on something that's not what it's supposed to be.  I am not shocked that it's a debt collector.  They'd think it's clever to disguise themselves that way, but then, refer to what I just said.  That's about as incognito as a regular wearing a stocking while trying to rob the store.  Second, Tabatha is in Alabama and I'm not that far from there and it's supposed to be General Accounts Service (800) 822-8383 1825 Barrett Lakes Blvd NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144-7518 but it sounds more like it's from California while Cali Girl IS in California and knows nothing about it.  Then Nik says the person on the other end says she's calling from Tennessee.  It looks like that stocking wearing robber is leaving his ID behind as well.

As for the multiple calls to the 12 year old's cell phone, it looks like the person who had that number before him was privy to this kind of thing big time.  That happened to my mom.  She answered a few of them and told them she had no idea what they were talking about & explained that it was a prepaid phone.  Then she asked them to stop calling her.  She then ignored the calls that still came in.  After a while they quit calling as much.  I don't know if they're still calling her but it helped.

Just don't answer.  If you want, save the number and mark it Scam, but in the end the really best thing is don't answer (unless you're Plymouth J. Clifford).
