Pam honey ,this guy called me yesterday and asked for my husband and hung up , I live in AZ so he just called again at 6  o'clock in the morning and was saying bunch of none sense. Just ignore it .

They just called me, way earlier than I wake up! I was totally P-d off. This is the fifth incarnation of this call, I've received in the last month, with this time being a real person (others were robo dialers). I didn't let the guy get passed "This is the Internal Revenue Service...", before I told him to "F-off" and hung up.  I can't believe this BS is allowed to go on for so long!    I'm wide awake now and can;t get back to sleep --hours before I even  have to go to work. Thanks IRS-spoof [***], I hope someone screws you over big and you remember your part in robbing decent folks.

The 800 number is correct. BUT, as soon as I said the word SCAM, they hung up. They attempted to scare me with a lawsuit. Not gonna happpen. Ever.

They called my cell phone before 8 am....  hung up at time of answering call.

Received two calls from 1(800) 829-4933 today from a male with thick accent claiming to be an officer with the IRS and a claim has been filed against my company.  Very weird. Phone number is legit when you look it up on IRS website but nothing else seemed normal.

I have received 3 calls today and several in the past.  I too told them to go ahead and send the Sheriff, I would love to talk to him.

Keeps calling, won't leave message. Answered the call today but refused to give name before they identified themselves. They told me to "f" off. Clearly, not official in any capacity. Scam. Do not give any information.

Several times now since July 19 I have received a phone call from this number. I have not answered it. After 4 or 5 of these I called the number and heard that it was the IRS Business and Specialty Tax Line. I don't own a business and pay any specialty taxes. That there has been no voicemail, is suspicious as well.

The IRS will never contact you via phone first, they WILL send snail mail to your address and set up a meeting time.
800-829-4933 is bogus, clearly an indian sweat shop using a sip service to masquerade their ID. Anyone got a few spare nukes?

800 826 4933  says IRS

The caller ID shows the real IRS phone number, however this is a scam. The IRS does not call.

Got 2 calls this morning, picked up the first one, and got a heavy Indian accent saying This is call from IRS. Then just hung up. Got another one then blocked the number.

I received a call from a guy with an Indian accent stating he was with the IRS and it was regarding a "lawsuit" they had filed against me. I told him I hadn't received anything in writing and hung up on him.

Call on my cell phone.  Caller asked for someone other than me. I have received five calls from this number on my cell.

I'm pretty sure Trump would put an end to this [***]!

I just got a call from them. I told him I didn't speak his language and could not understand his broken English.so he hung up on me. Then I Google the # and it came up as this site and the IRS Special Dept. Unless they did that too...?  So I shouldn't worry about this?  I was going to call the IRS (a different #) but who wants to talk to them?!
