Interestingly, that is NOT Geico's phone number from what I see.
I suspect the scammers have posted all those notes claiming they moved and forgot to inform Geico and when they spoke to them, the amazingly ALL got a lower rate because of talking to Geico.  So, they're trying to make their number look legitimate!

You see, I have NEVER done business with Geico, so they have no legal right to call me.  I am on the DNC list, which scammers ignore, but legitimate businesses honor.

This was a call from GEICO claims dept. following up on a auto claim that was filed. Not a scam.

Missed a phone call from 800-841-3000 them stating that they are GEICO and left a message to call  800-459-4038 with a claim # and it was about an accident I was in, BUT was in a small accident months ago, wasn't my fault. Me overthinking stuff as usually, I  immediately called my insurance giving them the info asking if someone is filing a claim against me?  Few minutes later my insurance calling me back after they talked to the Official GEICO Claims department/office and said we have NO RECORD of this number they called on OR ME, and no claim # against me, that it is A SCAM!!! Don't give any info and BLOCK!!!

They left a voicemail. Caller identified themselves by name and as being from Geico. Stated it was a courtesy call about the upcoming renewal on my motorcycle policy. Gave a callback number of 800-442-9253 which seems to check out as legit.

Got a call from that number. It was indeed GEICO following up on a current claim. They left a voice message. I REALLY appreciate their thoroughness and follow through. Safe call.

It's GEICO salvage claims department. I totaled my car and they were following up on some information.

Legitimate call - GEICO, I use them and it was a reasonable question, not a sales pitch.

I have continuously receiving calls on this number for the last 2 months.

I have been receiving calls from this number for the last couple of weeks. I have never had Geico Insurance and I haven't owned a car well over 3 years. No legitimate insurance company is going to be calling at 11pm and not leave a message stating their intent.

GEICO can put its ID on the call if they want it answered!  UNAVAILABLE doesn't cut it.

I got 2 calls from this number only a couple minutes apart and did not answer either call. No message was left, which is unprofessional. Suppose you were an identity thief ... What better way to steal valuable personal information than to spoof a legitimate business phone number, then pretend to be a representative of that business and ask for the victim's name, address and insurance policy number? These are the keys a crook needs to unlock the door to every piece of information about you online. Be careful out there, folks.

Oh crap.  I had just reported a claim to Geico and had no idea this was them calling.  DOH! :)

They don't have the right to call you if you don't have insurance with them.  They just called me, and i have no coverage through them.

I just got a call from this number and the person started shouting profanities at me and said that I was some kind of homosexual and then they hung up.

Just wanted to apologize for bad service I received through one of their contracted providers. Not necessary but I appreciate the follow through in knowing they read the surveys.

I do not have GEICO - never have. They call but when I answer, there is no reply. I tried calling the number back and I get nowhere.
