If this was indeed Geico looking for updated info, I don't know why they would call my phone 5 times in 15 minutes because I do not have an a policy with them. No info to update. Left one voice mail and it was just background noise of what sounded like an office.

This number is Geico. One location is: One Geico Plaza in Bethesda, MD> 20810-001
They have another address in Fredricksburg, VA.  They are supposed to be an indemnity company, which means they cover just about anything.  I have no idea why they are advertising so much in every major magazine you can think of.  Business must be sort of bad for them in certain areas of the country. The weird part about it is some of their employees must be having a hard time because they want to be paid on the National Level. They might share the same phone number folks, but their ability to keep track of their other offices is not full proof.  I might not keep them after this policy expires.  They recently sent me a refund of an over payment.  They had some weirdo calling people from Getzville, New York with an 800 number that ended in 1117.  I am looking for that notice from them, and will keep a hard copy of that file as this person must be involved in some FNBL which to me means Federal National Basketball League. He needs to stop calling people regarding their policies  He might be a great basketball player, but isn't too smart about insurance policies. Someone might have told him he was covered by Geico and to get his own 800 number. Therefore he is acting as a bill collector from Geico. KNOCK IT OFF DUDE!!

For all the people that have submitted an address change form with the USPS and are now getting calls from Geico to update their information, it appears they should not have been updated by the USPS. I was told by the USPS customer service that the front of the envelope must say Address Correction Required, which the Geico mail that I looked at does not have. This is actually a service that the company pays for and is typical of banks and government agencies such as the IRS, etc. Who knows who else they are erroneously informing such as marketers. I am not happy!! I have submitted a claim with the USPS and they will investigate the matter and get back to me.

I was skeptical that this was a scam, but they were pretty convincing that they were calling from my insurance company.  I mean how would they know I use Geico, right? So I gave them all of my updated information that they needed, I just switched credit unions and they convincec me to autodraft.  Well, the scumbags drained my bank account and stole my identity.  I'm now getting inappropriate emails too!

Don't fall for it like i did!

Called me this morning.  Left no message.  I do not have GEICO insurance, so if that's who it really is, they have no legitimate reason to call me.  Thanks to all who reported.

I got a recording calling about an incident involving me, Leslie Henry. Except, my name isn't Leslie and I didn't have accident. If you would have listened to my voicemail recording, then you would have realized that and not leave me a lengthy messsge about an incident that wasn't related to me!!! 😡

To everyone reading these messages  let me give you the update.  I have been insured with Geico for over ten years and the company does not operate like that.  I don't get text messages from them. All communications are by US Mail. Don't get taken by this scam.
