- revenger| 1 replyI received a call from 800-841-3520 on my cell phone and they asked for my husband by name. How they got this number, I don't know because this is not registered on his name. It was a recording and they even had the nerve to give an account number and said press 1 if this is him. I hung up. My next step is to contact the Florida Attorney General office to put an end to this company harassing people. This is the only way to stop them from calling you. This seems to be a problem in Florida because there are so many seniors who get scared and respond to calls like this. Should this happen to you, Contact the state attorney general's office to put an end to it. I only got one call so far but if it happens again, I will contact the government and President if necessary!

- Stop calling my cell phoneI keep getting calls from this number and asking for me by a previous name. I havent had that name in over 5 years. If you press one you get put on hold and I always hang up. If these people can't have the common courtesy to have a live human being call me then I dont have the common courtesy to actually wait for them to get on the line. Its a Debt collector for Medical companies.

- Heids| 2 repliesThey have been calling me for months now, and I saved the number so I know not to answer it. A week ago I answered, and a man said I owed money for a hospital bill, and gave me the reference number. I told him I knew this was a scam, and that he needed to remove my number. He yelled at me that he had my social security number right in front of him, and that they were a real collection agency. I told him he was full of [***], I have never received any bill in the mail, and to stop calling me. Today, they called again, and left a very nasty message saying this was their last attempt before they went to greater lengths to collect the debt. (but they have said that before in messages). How do I get them to stop? Come on, calling for months has to be harassment!
The first few calls were automated, but there have been messages left by at least 3 different males.- Caller: Ted Lee

- Chris K.Received a call from Ted Lee on 9/11/09 first time I ever had someone from a collection agency call me because I have good credit and pay all my medical bills as they come in.
Put the phone number (1-800-841-3520) on web search and after reading the comments decided not to pursue this any further.
So I thank all of you who took the time to respond to this website.

- AnonymReceived a call from 1-800-841-3520; Caller ID said "TOLL FREE CALL." An automated voice message said, "This is Ted Lee, with a call for X. If X is there, please press 1." I pressed 1 and after a moment, the call disconnected. Then I looked up the number on this site. We do have some outstanding medical bills, so it could be due to this. After reading comments on this site, I will use caution if I deal with them in the future.

- AnonymI received another call from 581-588-4598 (see my 11NOV2009 post). This time the Caller ID displayed; "Ted Lee". I spoke to a person named Kitty Green. She said that my daughter owed payment for a medical treatment from West Florida Radiology Associates. She stated the amount owed and practically demanded payment on the spot. I was not familiar with the charge and told her I wanted more information. All she could supply me was the date of service. I wanted time to research the bill to confirm the charges. She continued to pressure me for payment and implied that her credit history was in imminent danger. When I pressed her for a time frame, she reluctantly replied that we had 60 days! At that point I said that I would research the matter and call back. - Upon checking with the doctor's office, I determined that the bill is legitimate. I was given the name of the collection agency, which is:
C.I.B (Collection Information Bureau)
202 North Federal Highway

- Broke and bankrupt in FloridaJust got a "Ted Lee" message left from these sleaze puppies..lef the msg on our voicemail, but failed to state who they were trying to collect a debt for. When I called back, it was hard getting the person to tell me WHO they were and who they were calling on behalf of! I advised them they are in violation since we are in bankruptcy. Snotty b---h I spoke with said they had no knowledge and wanted me to send her all the papers!!! Said no, but I would give her the case number. She hung up..I called her a b---h. Then I called back to complain about her attitude. Guy answered this time. Told him about bankrupcty and he tried to make it MY fault that THEY didn't know about it...told him maybe he should check with the medical provider, who was named in the filing! Let him know that the next phone call I received from them would be reported to the FTC and anyone else I can think of! Jerks!!!!!

- ARM123I got a bill from this agency Collection Information Bureau. I called them and paid on Sep 9th. For my surprise, I got another exact bill to be paid. I call and they told me: "don't worry, this is duplicate". Ok, after that I got a third bill - I call again and now they said I owe that third bill. Note: it is the same amount, same day of service but different account number. I called the hospital and they said I don't owe anything - they don't even use this agency!!!! so now I don't know if I got into a scam or not.

- w.aI got a call one night from 800-841-3520. I called back and got a recording and left a msg like it asked. I worried all night of what it was because I knew all my bills were paid up! Then, I Googled the number and found all the others that this person tried to take advantage of. Do these people not have anything better to do? They need to be stopped! - w.aOk, so a day after I make the Feb 10 post, I received a call from these losers at 561-588-0300. This is the number that other callers received a call from! The person stated there was a bill for a pathology group. I quickly told that there was no such thing! They disagreed and, when I told her a second time, she hung up! I told her that it was a scam! So, these cowards hang up AFTER you disagree w/ them. Do NOT take their crap! It is a scam and it's rudiculous. SO, if they call, tell them that it is a scam. Don't play around w/ them! They don't have the nerve to tell you anything else.

- babyharleyboyI received a phone call from a 561 number but the return call number was 800-841-3520. I was told to call "Bill Edwards" and given a case number. I don't know who they are so I am not going to call . Caller ID number is a 516 number

- babyharleyboy replies to HeidsAsk them for the company contact information "because your attorney is waiting to contact them". Be sure and tell them that "your attorney" is expecting full documentation for the bill (as you have 30 days to dispute a charge on your credit in writing). Ask for proof that it was sent and you received it. Tell them if they cannot provide proof of the above items you are forwarding it to your state's attorneys office for investigation of collection procedures and are going to file a complaint with whoever handles telephone fraud. that may shut them up for a little while.
