Ok, behonest with yourselves people.  Yes, there are people who call you that are scam artists, but this one is real.  Instead of just ignoring the call, contact your medical care providers, GET PROOF from them first that you owe or don't owe something.  This is a legit collection agency.  The only harm you'll do is to yourself, and your credit if you ignore it.  I have a massive bill with them due to several chronic medical issues with my son, and they have been nothing but polite, and professional in helping me make payment arrangements.  Stop being jerks and pay up.  If you don't owe anything and you are sure of it, ask for proof in the form of a statement to back yourself up.  Don't just blow off the call, because no one will protect your credit rating other than yourself.  Oh, and by the way...this IS one of the collection agencies that does report to Equifax.

This is scam!!!  Please report to your Sheriff's office.  Somehow these people are stealing patient information from either Dr.'s offices or hospital visits.  My 87 yr. old grandmother had a very threatening message from "Ted Lee" shortly after she had a hospital procedure done.  She owes money to NO ONE and knew immediatly this was a scam.  This "Ted Lee" left a message on her machine telling he was debt collector and that she needed to call 800-841-3520 or he would cause her "more pain than she's ever felt before".  He threatened her over and over....

I just got a call from  Ted Lee who left a message on our answering machine to 1800-813520.  We do not have any outstanding debt of any kind I was glad to google the phone number and it came up with this web site.  I think four in your cornor news should call and get this scam out in the open,

Looked up this number and found this site so I thought I'd add my experience.
Apparently I do in fact have a bill due. One I never received, though I received the other 4 bills for the associated urgent care visits. I'm not sure how it managed to slip by however the fact remains that I’ve never received a bill for the disputed date.
The first lady I spoke with at this company was nice and I thought I'd receive the paper bill I asked for. I didn't and received a call today again. I spoke with a very rude man who absolutely refused to send me a paper bill. He didn't press me for any payment but adamantly refused to send me any form of invoice or statement of money due. I asked for a supervisor and still have yet to receive a call (apparently the supervisor gets a 3 hour lunch).
I've tried contacted the company with which the original bill is due (Criticare Clinics, INC) only to find that their phone is no longer in service. This is beginning to look like fraud to me. I see no other reason why I would be asked to pay for bills which I’ve never received. Personally, I refuse to pay a company for something they won’t give me a bill for (not that they can tell me what the bill is for anyway).
I’m sure I’ll have a complain to file with both the AG and BBB, pending my lawyers advice.

I just rec'd a call from 800-841-3520 on my cell phone.  When I called back a male answered as Keith, I could hear other operators in the background.  They are apparently third party collectors.  I had previously rec'd calls from other numbers and the usual name I receive is Ted Lee.  There must be many Ted Lee's!

I received a message where they said it was for a debt collection, gave me an account number, and said to contact them at 800-841-3520, ext 307, and her name is Sarah. I didn't call because I don't owe anything to anybody. The only thing I can think of is a medical bill they kept sending me for something that was covered by my insurance, and I tried to settle it with them, with no luck.

800-841-3520......Automated call from Ted W......... we should all call him and harrass him to see how it feels.

I just received a phone call from them to but said I was not home took a message and called back a little while later and then researched and saw this I just called and they said it was regarding a DR's bill that the insurance should have paid and wanted a  visa card I told them I was not paying it it was through tthe insaurance company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A Mr. Green from 800-841-3520 said I have an outstanding bill for urgent care. I went through all my office visits listed on my insurance site and there are no outstanding amounts and no viist for the day in question. When I asked for paperwork, he told me they already sent it and would not send it again. That does not sound very professional to me. Most likely he has no address to send it to. So glad to see this site.

I just received a call from these people and decided, after reading your post, to call them back.  The message said Ted Lee, but a woman answered the call and said that a medical bill that I am currently paying is now in collections and she said that her records show that I had only made 2 payments this year, the company no longer wants to deal with me, that's why its in collections and I MUST send all future payments to them!.  I said to her "really, that's funny because I work in the financial field, I keep really good records. I've already made payment arrangements directly with the company in February and I just received their latest bill on July 5 and I sent them a payment on July 9th. Also every time I send them a payment, I itemize on the bill the date of the payment and how much is still due".  I then said "Why would they keep sending me bills if they no longer wanted to "deal with me"?  I told her that I will NOT send them any money, I will still send my payments directly to the company"   WELL, after I said that....all He** broke loose!!!  She became very nasty and told me that she "will personally mess up my credit and I better pay her today..so give me your credit card information now"!!!  I laughed at her and told her that the last time I heard, there was no debtor's prison and as long as I keep sending in my monthly payments, there was NOTHING that they could do to me.  I then told her to have a lousy day and drop dead!!!  LOL
Hmmmmmm......I wonder will they call me back!!!!

I've been getting calls from 800-841-3520 also...three in the past two weeks.  Caller is Ted Lee...
Believe his company name is CID.  Part of the message was that they are giving me an
opportunity to "VOLUNTARILY resolve your past due acount".   Notice from other comments
on this site that these calls are all "medically related"....also someone said the calls originated
in Florida.  I live in Michigan but was recently hospitalized n Florida.  I believe these calls
are coming from someone who has access to some company''s records that handles billings for
some Florida medical institution.  Believe almost all doctor's, hospitals, clinics, etc. outsource
their billings now.  With only the info posted on this web site it should be quite easy for
some investigator to find and expose this scam...

DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!!!

I get that same call, except they ask for a person who is not me nor that I know.  I will not call them back as it is not my duty to assist or resolve someone else’s debt.  DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION - they are probably attempting to scam you.  If you do call and the agent THREATENS you with credit reporting or OTHER ACTIONS, STOP TALKING get all of THEIR information and report it to your/the credit agencies. You can Google the FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act) and study your rights and protection. Additionally, pull up the Florida State constitution and there is a portion that refers to debt collection agencies. If you do not owe anything, then do not even call them back.  Block the number through your phone carrier. If you do owe a bill, contact the credit reporting agencies and go through them to resolve your issue not this Ted Lea company.  If the credit agency gives you their number, let them know they are harassing you, and not cooperating as they are required to. If you do owe a bill, reach out to the company that is claiming that bill and resolve with them.

You cannot be arrested for debt, your belongings cannot seized for a medical debt, they cannot contact you by phone when you tell them to stop – either your personal number or at work. Demand that they send this information to you registered return receipt mail. They should have your mailing information DO NOT PROVIDE IT to them! DO NOT talk to them on the phone about anything! STAY IN CONTACT WITH THE CREDIT AGENCIES UNTIL YOUR ISSUE IS RESOLVED.  

THESE PEOPLE ARE IMMORAL BLOOD SUCKERS!! YOU HAVE RIGHTS PROTECT THEM!

Let's all call and threaten and harrass them for a while!  Payback!

FL.  Second...the name of the president of CIB is a bottom feeder named...ARMAND MOENS JR......his HOME PHONE # IS...561-630-1427.  Oh....his home address is... 700 OCEAN ROYALE WAY, UNIT #1003 JUNO BEACH, FL.  His wife's name is CAROL ANN.  He's making some serious $$$.....he bought that unit in 2001 for $700,000+.  It overlooks the Atlantic Ocean.   So....if any of you are in the Palm Beach / Lake Worth area...or are planning to visit, please stop in and say "HI" to ARMAND and CAROL ANN MOENS JR!!!!

the owners name is ron. he is a sleaze bag. i was one of only 3 or 4 african americans hired in that rat hole in like 10 years. the owner,ron had confederate flags all around his office.
he was having a long affair with a collector. then his wife joins the management team to save the business from closing down. 2 days after she comes in her hubbys mistress is fired on the spot. it was so funny. the floor manager monica was telling everyone that rons wife only joined the team so she could fire this gal and seperate her husband fron her.
you do not have to pay these dirtballs anything.
pay the doctor direct and they get zero commision.
but dont tell them you are doing that or they will flag the account and notify the doctor a check is on the way and then they indeed will get commision.
they record every single call they make. if they dont ask your ok to do so you can sue them for an fdcpa violation.
fax the guys a cease and desist letter and they are forbidden to call again.
ik fine to them and 1k payout to you if they do

I too am a former employee from this place. I am surprised they are still around. I ran into Monica at the flea market and she said the place was shutting down.
Folks you don't have to pay these guys a dime. They cannot sue you and if they threaten to do so you can sue them for FDCPA violations.
If it is your intent to clear a debt you should pay your doctor directly and not to them. They will not get any commissions off of this.
Don't let them know you are doing that though as they will flag the account with the doctor and when your payment arrives they will get commission on it.
Finally if you want to put this company in deep do-do, whether you wanna pay your bill or not.......bombard your doctor with complaint calls during their busiest hours. This place hates it when debtors complain to the doctors office.
