8:00 am Saturday morning I got a call from this number wanting to talk to me about my Chase Mortgage. I immediately sensed a scammer. When I challenged the phone caller, their reply was very rude. Then they hung up abruptly. I called Chase and was assured Chase does not initiate this type of phone call. My gut was right, the caller was a scammer.

I have A Chase mortgage, but it gets taken directly out of my bank acct, so it has Never been late.
Someone may be spoofing the call with Chase's number to try to get your acct number & etc.

If they wanted their payments on the 1st, then they shouldn't put "due on 1st....past due on 16th" on their statements. Because as with most mortgage holders, we will set up the payment (whether authorized automatically or online) for the date we are paid. (And in some ppl case that is btwn or close to 15th.) Note: we are not delinquent on our mortgages!

Well, it was clearly defined in your contract, the one that you never read, that the due date is the first.  That is also clearly defined on the statement, as per your own words "due on 1st".  Now they simply give you a few days as a courtesy to get your payment in to them before you get charged late charges.  Using that grace period constantly puts you late every month, and yes, you are delinquent on your mortgage.

Read your statement. It clearly states at the top "ie. past due January 16, 2018". (They clearly contradict themselves.) It might say one thing in your contract, but they give you an out by publishing that fact on your statement.

Regardless the contract terms rule because you signed them, apparently falsely stating that you understood them.  Of course if you have some proof that you are correct in this matter, please cite your reliable, verifiable sources.  You know, case law, contract law, something like that.

Total scam!  I received a call from this #.  A compute said I was delinquent on a payment. I called Chase local bank. They pulled up all my accounts and told me I was current on everything.

This is the outreach dept for Chase mortgage. I call every month to make a payment as I'm on a plan to catch up (one month behind). They're very nice and professional. It's not a scam.

Chase Mortgage Home Finance. Caller asking my personal information. I Said never give personal information by phone. Asking too if I live at the same address ???? I Said, never give personal information by phone. Asking again if I can confirm my name and address ..... I said, never give information by phone. The caller told me I need to confirm the information, and I told him, to send I letter for me, by mail, because I DON'T GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION BY PHONE. Finally, hangup the call.

IF this is Chase, then why does the person who is trying to talk to you impossible to understand due to a foreign accent? I answered this call once - big mistake. Impossible to understand. They hang up on you. Do not answer this number. IF it is Chase, it demonstrates a total disregard for you, your loan, and their business relationship with them (if you have one). Keep a record of the number of calls. Demonstrate the harassment.

Periodic calls from this number in the past few weeks, they never leave a message (even a robo message). If it is Chase, as others have reported, we do have an account with them but they always have called my husband in the past, not me, and they leave messages.

Someone on this number keeps calling and claims they are Chase Bank regarding my mortgage which I do not have.

I received a call this morning, as I saw Jpmorgan Chase on my phone's Caller ID. I said "hello" twice, then they hung up. This call only lasted 6 seconds.

At the time, I didn't notice that it should be JPMorgan Chase on my Caller ID.

Maybe my voice scared them, or something?

We get calls from this number 3-4X a week (including Saturadays) and always early in the morning. While the elderly couple for whom I am caregiver does have multiple Chase accounts, they have no current issues with any of them. If they did, they would have gotten mail from Chase or messages from them on their accounts web page. This number has been blocked on the owner's landline, yet they keep calling but cannot get thru since our call blocker prevents even one ring. 100% these are the interest rate reduction fraudsters from the nation of India.

Why do they never leave voicemail or identify themselves (the id says "account services")  I won't answer a call when the caller is not properly identified.

Caller ID:  "Chase"  They left no message but in view of the fact that I have no association with the company and have never had a loan with them, and have no loans that have not been paid off, this is clearly a scam.

Scam call pretending to be from JP Morgan Chase mortgage, said we were in collections. That's when I knee it was a scam.

I just received a phone call saying that someone was trying to open a bank account under my name and that they were trying to withdraw two amounts from my account.  I do not have an account with Chase at all, so I told them I was not opening an account.  They ten tried to tell me that these people could withdraw this money through my phone number.  I said I do not have an account so I dont care, then they said they could withdraw it out of any account I own.  I started asking questions about that statement and they hung up on me.

Not sure if it is a scam or not
