Not sure if it is a scam or not

Got a call from 800-848-9380. Caller identified himself as Chase Debit Card Fraud Department. He stated they were contacting me to report two attempts in Tampa Florida at an Apple store in excess of $800 that they blocked. I do not live in Florida. I suspected it was a scam and asked for a number I could call them back at. The caller said it was the number he called me on but they had to handle this issue immediately. I hung up on him and called a verified Chase Fraud number who verified that it was indeed a scam. Be careful. Don't trust anyone. Double check everything.

Scammers impersonating chase employee and claim 2 fraudulent transactions were taken out by me?  I d even have a chase acct...Lol!  I started laughing at this dude and he hung up on me.  Google this number and see fraud commentary.
