This is a company that poses as an official vehicle warranty company. But it is not affiliated with the car dealer. They glean your information from public records when you buy a car. Beware.

Got a letter with this number claiming my "factory warranty has expired or may be about to expire." No business name, but wants me to call with my vehicle info. Definitely sounds like a scam.

They will make up a price and try to rip you off. There isn't much anyone can do with that info, since you can look at any car's windshield to find a VIN and look through the window at the dash to see the mileage.

Received notice stating I have not contacted anyone regarding my Vehicle Service Contract on my vehicle and my factory warranty has expired or may be about to expire. They want my VIN number for my Honda. I came to this website and read about the public experience. then I didn't worry that I received this kind of notice to mail box because I have Shredder at Home. Hehehe . . .

Received this notice, no company name on it, addressed to my daughter under her maiden name, and referenced it to a motorcycle (sport bike) which she  has never owned. Smells bad to me.

    Look Out
Received a "FINAL NOTICE" letter saying my vehicle warranty has expired or is about to expire and I have not yet contacted "Unnamed Company" about my vehicle factory warranty.  Pressure and scare tactics written into the letter trying to get to call 1-800-851-0673 ASAP.  I've had my car 3 weeks and it has less than 700 miles.  So much for the credibility of the scare tactics.  Letter signed by a RICHARD THOMAS, Program Coordinator.  DON'T CALL THESE PEOPLE.  They are scammers.  Throw the letter away and go on with your life.  If you want an extended warranty (really repair insurance) call your dealer or manufacturer.  They will likely honor any repair claim in the future.

I just received a notification as well. They claim the factory warranty on my 2018 Hyundai Elantra is about to expire. My car has a 10 year/100,000 mile warranty. Currently it has slightly less than 30,000 miles and 6 more years on the warranty.
Shoot, my car may out live me!
