    "not the guy"
Received several calls from 800-851-9631. After relating to them I was "not the guy" who must have previously had this> (my) number, sure
enough, the very next day they called. Here's what I did.!  Basically it was an exited rant about telephone terrorism... I used every alarm word that the HLS/FBI/NSB etc., scan for in our phone conversations> (per Edward Snowden) to locate possible homeland threats.
I have used this tact on several occasions w/ better than good results.
They generally hang up with haste after they hear where the conversation has gone.
*** CAUTION...Keep the conversation without making threats.. Example: This is another attack on my home/cell phone. I see it as a possible
act of terrorism... Every time my phone rings its seems like a bomb being dropped from your dirty company. This might be how ISIS reaches
terrorists phone numbers...etc.. Keep it suggestive but without libel.

They constantly call looking for my mom or my sister and when we ask what for, they say that they can't say. So we hang up because they won't give us a clear answer to the reason why.

They called me and stated they were attempting to collect a debt (I just had my credit report ran from the bank 2 weeks ago due to applying for a mortgage loan, I have no debt) and asked that I verify the last 4 of my SSN. I would not. They read the numbers off to me and said "I just need you to say yes this is the last 4 of my SSN" and I refused to verify ANYTHING to do with my identity. They were very angry and finally hung up on me.  I work for an attorney's office and he told me of a new scam that people try on the elderly. They ask the person, " Is this....." and when the person says "Yes"  the caller records them saying yes.  They attempt to get bank account info and if they get enough to steal their identity and steal their money, they have a recording of them saying "Yes" in agreement to something that wasn't even discussed. DO NOT ANSWER ANY OF THIER QUESTIONS

I didn't answer the call and it went to voicemail. The automated recording said something about, if you don't want to receive these calls, go to their website. And the link has "SOL" in there, so I guess if you put your information on the website, you are SOL. You are still going to get the calls. They have been blocked.

so they call me 8pm. want me to hold......so I hold cause I am not aware of any deliquencies. then its just this recording. that says I need to call this Miller chick at this OTHER number. and hangs up. So I call it back.. then I get a recording about being debt recovery and I have reached them after business hours? even though they just called me???? so It lets me leave a message. I started to play really LOUD music. it did not hang up after 10 mins of leaving MUSIC on their machine. Hung up and called back played 10 more mins of music. Maybe I can annoy them and the next time they call I am going to answer saying  you have reach my after business hours and just start playing loud music again lol morons.

Then perhaps you should tell them?  Debt collectors won't stop calling until you give them a reason to stop.  So, looks like CWG40 has given you enough information on this outfit (page 18) to do the following:
You need to send them a certified, return receipt "not me" letter (think of it as the best $6.47 you ever invested).  Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it.  Make a notation of that fact at the bottom of the letter.  You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to.  Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment.  If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt and we would all be the richer for it.  Use these web sites to find an attorney in your state that will probably take the case on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket up front):  http://www.consumeradvocates.org/

Read up on your rights here and also make a complaint at this government site:  http://www.consumerfinance.gov/

Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.

You keep calling me about dept. I see you are a debt collector. I'm not in dept, I have no credit cards, I have no medical bills.
I have 2 Health insurances, no you may not know who they are so you can fortunately bill them.
My mortgage and car payments up to date, they are paid one one month in advance meaning I am a month ahead. Your trying to get money out of me I do NOT owe, I believe this is against the law.
If ANYONE reports to ANY credit report I will sue.
I'm saving and have been all calls from Anyone trying to collect money for bills I do not have.
My credit score is above excellent. When prssing 1 to speak with the caller I'm put on hold.
Please don't call me and put me on hold.
Please don't call this number, I do not answer a call on my cell if it's not in my contacts.
    Why are you calling me?

What possible thought process suggested that we called you,  your caller reads your posts here, or your post will effectively stop calls to you?
(Reply to this post to help us understand - we REALLY want to know! - or ignore it, and confirm your lack of comprehension)

800notes.com did not call you, cannot block calls for you, cannot put you on or take you off a "list" and cannot report calls for you.

Some new idiot debt collector calling and looking for someone I've never heard of. Acted like I'm a liar...
Blocked number and I can block more numbers than they can conceivably call from! I don't waste my time nor money sending certified letters to these idiot debt collectors who are trying to contact people I've never heard of. I just bought a call blocker box that blocks upto 500,000 numbers and once any number is entered I never hear my home phone ever ring again! If these imbeciles were actually calling looking for me I'm sure they'd be calling one of my 3 cell phones. The fact that these idiot debt collectors have never ever called any of my cell phones that I've had for over 15 years kind of proves I'm not the person they're looking for! These people are to stupid with no education to work anywhere but fast food or debt collections!
    The call ID of DRS=DumbReallyStupid
I'm fixing to switch from Charter Spectrum voip phone to the new AT&T fiber optic setup with Uverse voip phone. Hopefully I'll get a phone number that has never been used by anyone else and this kind of BS will finally stop!
I've changed my number with Charter Spectrum 3 times in 8 years and everytime I get debt collectors looking for more people I've never heard of...
