caller ID lists name unavailable

I keep getting calls from this number, sounds like they are asking for Dale Clotts, Or Gail it is automated and cannot really be understood. They say it is an important message and  if you are not this person hang up, which I do, but they still keep calling.  I have tried to stay on the line to talk to someone but never sucessful.  I have had this number for a long long time so I don't know why they have it.  it is my cell, so it costs me minutes everytime they call.  I want them to stop.

they keep hanging up without leaving a message. since it costs them money to use their toll free number, i keep answering the phone before the answering machine kicks in, and then just let the number run it's recorded message. They ask about a wide variety of people, none of whom live at this address or phone number.
