I just gave Time Warner my cell number a few days ago and now I get a call from this number.....kinda ironic

TWC. Of course. They have refused to acknowledge the death of my late husband (7years ago) and are demanding more proof than the Feds. They have refused to cancel the service. Several times. The account is in his name. I have stopped all payments for quite some time now. He's buried. I. Am not exhuming the body and doing a weekend at Bernie's by carrying it into their office, but I do have the cremains of several pets I have lost..am seriously considering sending some ashes with a copy of the death certificate...do you think that might get their attention?

I had a cable outage and called in to report it.  I spoke to a robotic system.  No problems reporting.  It took about a 2 minutes. They acknowledged there was an outage in my area.
Cable was out for about 45 minutes.  After it was restored I received a call regarding the robotic reporting system.  They wanted to know what I thought about the robotic reporting system   The survey took less than 3 minutes.  There were 5 simple questions.
I did a similar survey 5 years ago when the cable went out.

I got a call. Didn't answer. She left a message saying she's from the presidents office at time Warner and wants to talk to me about and understand my problem with my account - which I don't and never have had. She said she's in Wisconsin.  Call back number: 920-996-4730.  I haven't looked that number up yet.

ive been getting "your TWC bill is ready to pay" in my email since late 2014. i do not have TWC. this number is listed. and another which isnt TWC. i think it is a scam. but i am not sure.

They left a msg.  Caller states that they are calling from TWC.  Saids they are leaving msg for a name I never heard of.

Yes it is Time Warner!  I was just on the phone with a rep trying to get this never ending internet problem solved and this number called.  The rep I was already on the phone with verified that it is Time Warner.  It is that damned poll they want you to take about how good or bad the rep on the phone was.  They will call until you take their stupid survey!  He said he could remove my number and not have any more poll requests sent.

Yes, this was Time Warner Cable for me, but it was just them reporting that my service interruption had been cleared. So this isn't always a bad call.

This is Time Warner Cable's automated dial-er to request a payment for past due amounts.
I put the number on my block list which sends it to voicemail. I have requested that this auto service stop calling my number. My bill isn't due for another 15 days and I haven't even gotten my bill in the mail yet. I refuse to my balance for the fact that this call is very annoying every month around the last week of the month. Those of us on fixed incomes normally don't get our checks till the 1st of every month. I even stated this to many of their CSR clowns.

This is FAKE Time Warner support that works to break your system.  Then they promise a tech will be out.  When you call Time Warner, they don't know anything about it.

I get a call twice a day for this number. One a 10:20 and the other at 4:20. I have it set to auto reject at this point. I'm on the Do not call list. The one time I answered, no one and the one voicemail they left was 2 seconds of nothing. I don't know who is calling but this started on the 19th.

I agree! I work in a call center for Comcast cable company. We sell the same products as time Warner. But our calls are inbound. The customers call us. I would hate if it was the other way around.

don't know who this is and when they leave a voicemail is an automated female voice saying. Sorry I didn't get that.

It's TWC confirming a service appointment for next day. Legitimate call.

This is a follow up call from TWC, but evidently they are not too bright.  I called to complain that our phone was not working.  They said no one could come to fix it for 3 days.  Then they call my (BROKEN) phone for feedback.  If not for caller id log, I wouldn't have known they called!

There was a message on my machine from this number, on which a man said that my number was given to him as an "extension" for Time Warner.  He gave me a cell phone number to contact him, as he wants to take care of his TW billing.  I have nothing to do with TW--I'm a university professor and I have satellite TV--and I came close to calling the "cell phone," but it sounded fishy (or phishy).  Why would someone with a cell phone call me through an 800 number?  Glad I came here. . .

DO NOT call them back and don't answer calls you don't know.

Trust me--I won't.  I screen calls both on my landline (used only because I'm bundled) and cell.  If I don't know you, I don't call.
