This number showed up in my TMobile Scam Shield blocked call list (Yes, I check it occasionally) so often -once six times in less than five minutes- that I decided to Google who wanted to talk to me that much. Silly me- I thought nobody from Spectrum would have the chutzpah to bother me after what I said when I dumped cable.

I am on do not call list.  Therefore this is an Illegal telemarketing call from Time-Warner.

Credit Card scam. AT&T caller ID indicated telemarketer. Blocked.

I don't even have Time Warner and they call.  I ask why since I DO NOT HAVE their services and never will.

Spectrum cable. I told them we don't live in an area with Spectrum the [***] hung up on me.

This is a scam call using a discounted number to hide the calling number . This is a scammer posing as time warner or spectrum. Report to fbi,fcc,ftc and fbi.

Usual hang up after A/M greeting, probable spoofed number by scammers.

SPECTRUM (Time Warner) telemarketing call in violation of Do-Not-Call List. I have never done business with SPECTRUM.

Received call @ 3:35 PM (EDT). Caller I.D. showed: "TOLL FREE CALL". I did not answer and no message was left on my voice mail.

It is not Time Warner, it is a scam.  I called Time Warner and they said they didn't have any department that was calling. The scam is using TW number to get your information.

Again they call, seems like every other day here, still the usual hang up after A/M greeting, I'm convinced it's spoofed number by scammers.

This came up as Spectrum... Why is anyones guess since Spectrum isn't even allowed to service this part of Yonkers, NY.  We are stuck with Optimum.  Of course my brother has Spectrum and from what he says they are just as bad if not worse.    These companies wonder why people are streaming.

800-892-2253:  this is a scam number, spectrum the real service provider, said this number is no longer in service for them.  Be careful.

I had this number in my contacts for spectrum and when I called, it was like advertising for discounts on travel and then they wanted to give me a $100 gift card for $1.95. Finally figured out it probably wasn't spectrum. I had given my name, number and address! :(. But thankfully no cc number.

This phone # 8008922253 is NOT Time Warner or Spectrum Services, it is a scammer! They said their systems were down & I qualified for an $100 rebate in the form of a "gift card" but I would need to pay the shipping fee. Their line is incoming and there was also an option for callers to sign up for new services, presumably to steal trusting callers info. Reported phone number to the Attorney General or FCC

I had this number saved in my phone as Spectrum customer service and called it. They said that I reached the Rewards Center and they couldn't help me with my internet issue but they can issue a $100 gift card - no reason provided. They said I'd just have to pay a fee of $3.95 to activate the card. They asked for personal information such as credit card number, phone number, email address, home address, birth date. It felt off so I hung up, and called Spectrum's customer service line on their website and they told me it was a scam.
