This caller (Penn Credit) calls me from 800-900-1370 / 1389 / 1393, there must be something seriously wrong with these people, they seem to just not "get it".  I don't answer their calls but they leave no message and call me at least three times a day.  This is clearly harassment

This is a legitimate debt collection service.  You either owe money or someone who has the same name as you owes money.  If you owe money pay it and they will stop.  It it's not you, call them and they will remove your number from their call list.

It may be a legitimate debt collection agency but they use illegal call tactics under state and federal FDCPA. The only way to handle their corrupt and deceptive collection personnel is by sending a "Cease and Desist" certified mail along with complaints to the CFBP explaining how they contact anyone listed as  "associated" or "alternate contact number" or "wrong name" or "wrong number" to an alleged debtor, relatives, friends, and others.

James, it sounds like you owe somebody money.  They were polite and when they realized I was not the person who owed the money, the calls stopped.  It would be a better world if people took financial responsibility.

I have been getting calls everyday several times a day from several dufferent numbers. Sometimes it identifies as Penn Credit, sometimes as unknown or unavailable. This has been going on for several months, I don't answer the calls but except for the first or second call they leave no message. They asked for a person named "Norman" whom I have never heard of but the calls persist. Just a few minutes ago they called on my land line as usual, but then immediatly called on my cell phone number. They have gone too far this time, these people are obviously genetic defectives of some sort. I had no idea that a person could actually be this ignorant, I suppose it is due to their genetic inferiority that causes this filth to harass people for no reason. Perhaps they are the product of their mothers sleeping with farm animals to produce them or something of that sort to convieve such a genetically inferior offspring. Penn Credit and the scumbag filth that work for them are the lowest crap on earth.

I don't know the person they are looking for, or do I have any outstanding credit issues with anyone.

Caller ID says "TOLL FREE CALLER" - calls frequently, won't leave message, and I sure am not going to talk to these idiots.

I know this happens because I have been stuck with calls for people I never heard of.

Caller asks to speak with my daughter...will not leave a message...says it is personal business that can only be discussed with her.  My daughter called the number several times to find out why they were calling, but could not talk to any one, even though it was during business hours.  They continue to call all hours of the day and night.
