The first time was 2008 , same story different company.i think a company that did payday loans got hacked and all the info out. The first company told me I owed 5000 and wanted me to pay it off on the spot , but I knew I paid off my loan. Guess wie will see if miss thang shows up to serve me...

- lovelyladyI have received calls from a Sue Taylor and she gave me a different number (877-915-5050) but when I called the number it was Anthony Barnes and Associates. So they have different numbers for different people I guess. I am awaiting papers today....lol I wish she would show up so that I can get her number and license plate so that I can call the cops to have them do something on the matter.
- TrevorI received calls about this a few weeks ago. I never answered them, but I did get a message each time from Justin White. He said the same thing that everyone else has said - "I have papers with your name and social security number to serve you with on Thursday January XX, 2012. Unless you call 1-800-913-9558 and I hear otherwise I will be coming to serve you on that date."
I never called the number and I ignored the calls. Same message 3 days in a row. Thursday came and guess what - I was never served and haven't heard anything from them again.
This strikes me as a scare tactic trying to get people to pay on non-existent debts. First off, what process server is going to call you ahead of time and warn you that they are coming? Second, when did you only get served "unless (they) hear otherwise" from you calling a number? Third, how would a process server know my social security number? Fourth, wouldn't a bad debt be on my credit report? Fifth, if I was being served with court papers, shouldn't there be a record of a case against me in the court records?
Don't stress over this crap, don't call the number, and it might not hurt to save the voicemails and file a complaint against them with the FCC and the local district attorney. Hell, you could probably sue this company, whose info I was never able to find online, for harassment or attempting to collect a false debt.- Call type: Debt collector
- JpI got the same call from sue taylor also saying i needed to call 8779155059 also. I reported this to my local authorities because it turns out it is an extortion scam. If it is a valid debt they have to give you a written letter stating what the debt is and who the creditor is by law. These people are trying to force you to pay money over the phone by scaring you with threats. Don't call or answer any questions from these people

- LouiseGot a call yesterday from Tara Williams ext 105. They first called my sister in Fort Wayne and said they were looking for my husband to arrest him for fraud etc. for a payday loan from 2007. She was so freaked. She called me. When I spoke to them, they were continuing to tell me the FBI etc. were going to be here tomorrow. I told them if he had a past debt to send me the paperwork. I never received it. They called me and my sis again today. We didn't answer. I guess we will see what happens.

- Stephen Quitman| 1 replyThis person claimed to have some document to serve me with my social security number and address that he was coming to my home job or both unless I responded to 877 915-5050 number by a specific date

- absolutelycute1 replies to Stephen QuitmanI started receiving the same messages from "Sue Taylor" Last week. I was in the hospital at the time and really couldn't grasp was she was saying. Today she called my mother's home which is a number that I have never given out for anything and left a long threatening message on her machine. I called the 18779155050 number to find out what was going on. Supposedly I took out a loan for 415.00 from CASHNET in March of 2010. I got in a heated argument with the lady (whose name I did not get) and hung up on her. I calmed myself down and called back and this time his name was "Michael Washington" I informed him I was trying to get information on a false claim that I had against me and that I would be recording the call. He freaked out and said I do not give you permission to record the call and hung up on me. Hopefully I will not be hearing from them again!
- Red Ahab| 1 replyCalled by person (young woman) looking for my daughter. Offered to take a message and got 1-877-915-5050 and a “claim number” and name ("ask for Lauren"). This person described herself as a “legal courier” but would not say who she was working for and would not give her last name or any professional identification. Said she worked for “the courts” but would not identify any jurisdiction. She seemed to be saying that she had a subpoena to deliver but refused to confirm that or anything else. Says she’s going to “show up” and that things would be better for my daughter if we cooperated. Then she hung up. I called the 877 number above and got “Anthony Barnes & Associates”. This person said they were a legal firm but would not say where they are; not state, city, country or continent. They both sounded American. Says they outsourced their phone contact activity. Then she hung up, too.

- In Debtcall from Sharon Whitley stating that "You have just been notified". Left message on my work number regarding a sealed certified letter that requires a signature. LOL This company is Anthony Barnes & Associates who have collected old payday loans that have been sold to different companies. Everybody know that the original debtor can only sue you not the bill collector. Look up debt collector laws

- elfgirl9223I have received calls from these people for mos now. Claiming that I owe 3000 $ to a company called money and more. Apparently its a pay day loan company,( Google money and more they do not exist) but would be willing to settle out of court for 905.00 $. I told them that I never had a pay day loan. he told me that If I didn't pay the money today they would send
Someone to my house to service me papers for " attempting to defraud a financial institution".
Never paid it. That call was two weeks ago. Today I received a call from a Brenda house who called me to remind me that she was coming to my house sometime today to serve me papers of intent. How nice of her to call and remind me she was coming. I guess I will see if she really shows up.
I've gotten calls for mos off and on from these people claiming I'm a fraud.
I've been threatened that they were gonna call me work and tell them that I was attempting to defraud
a company. Which is very strange since I work for myself.- Caller: anthony barnes and associates.

- Fraud finderThe company now uses this number to continue their harassment, threats and so called intimidation. [877-916-5050] Do not give them any information no matter what they say. They are disrespectful and rude. Professionalism does not exist. They will not mail you any paperwork and demand you must send card information in order for anything to be resolved. When I asked simple questions like who is calling and where is the business located a barrage of disrespect was released on me from these so called debt collectors. They quickly disconnected the call after threatening to take legal action on me. For what I don't know since they were to busy being defensive and rude.

- JLO| 4 repliesI received a call in January from Sue Taylor who stated that she would be serving me documents pertaining to a debt with Cash Net, she left the phone number of 800-913-9558 along with a reference number. I spoke with a young man by the name of Jerry Green, who stated that I owed a balance of $983.50, and set me up on monthly payments until 10/27/12, sent me a form via email to sign and fax back to 404-908-0111, to authorize payments from my debit card. I have been trying to call 800-913-9558/ 800-915-5050 for several weeks and both numbers are no good. There was a manager by the name of Carl Weinberg who verified all of my information and the name Tony Licata is on my form as the Sr Risk Manager.
This company has taken $150.00 dollars from me, I think that I have been scammed, thank god I cancelled the prior debit card. So good luck in getting anything out of me again, Shame on me once but not twice, I get the last laugh on this one, and I will be pursuing my money and you will hear about this on the news bet your [***] you will.- Caller: Anthony Barnes & Associates

- JLO replies to Fraud finderThis is not the number that was sent to me by email 800-913-9558, it sounds like a cell phone, it states that subscriber you reached is not available or has traveled outside the service area for the last month.
- Dani replies to JLO| 2 repliesHi JLO
They also scared me into giving them money my situation was identical to yours. Thank Goodness I only gave them info of a prepaid card. They keep calling me telling me I owe the 2nd half. I actually looked them up online and found a pretty low budget site claiming to be them with no contact information. I swear I'm about to call Chris Hansen from Dateline so that he can do an investigation!! How are they able to still harass people! I am going to a lawyer consultation next week.
