Caller identified herself and asked for someone who never lived here.  I said that I was that person and without asking for any identification, the caller told me about a past due (2001) credit card bill and the amount owed!  The caller got angry when I told her the truth and hung up on me!!

800-932-5620 calls my cell @ three & up to 5 times a day - every day.  They do not answer when I say hello and never leave a msg if I do not answer. I still get charged for the minutes?! What to do.?!

I just got on Mrsassociates.com and tried to email them the following but was rejected because they claimed I included a word that their system thought was potentially spam.
Those words were ATTORNEY GENERAL
So I email the Attorneys General listed, with a snail mail copy to follow.

I do not know of anyone you are seeking payment from. Each and everyday you call the above number and I do not answer.
I cannot crap you whoever you are looking for.
I have referred this to the Attorneys General of Both New Jersey (your home state) and Colorado (my home state,) for hharrassment charges.

Yes, they kept calling me for 3 days. Only once a woman answered me and said I applied to remove my phone....I said no, I didn't. She still kept asking me question. :(

I looked this company up and found all of these comments about them.  I did call, because I honestly knew that they may be calling to collect a legitamate debt - not a deadbeat, just going thru a hard time.  I got a very nice young man - obviously not a rocket scientist, but helpful and good-natured.  He was very polite - even before he knew whether I could or couldn't pay my debt.  I think that it always depends on who you get, as to how they will react to you.  They're used to people telling them they have the wrong number.  Also, many times companies close bad debts, send it back to the original company and then get the file back again - which means it all goes back into the system fresh.  We all know that they are harrassing, annoying, call when they shouldn't, etc - but there is so much legitamate debt out there - mine included - that they have to do something.  It's better than the days where they showed up at your door, isn't it??

They are calling a cell phone. This is illegal

calls everyday, I don't answer when I see the number on my caller id, doesn't leave message

he called me and asked me if I was Amanda,I told him I am not! and he asked me for the last four digits of my phone number.After giving him that he told me he'll remove me from their list.I dont know ehat he was talking about.

They've been harassing me for months now.
They always say that they need urgent information and request personal finance info like bank accounts and SSN etc.  

 DEMAND TO SEE ANY PAPERWORK OR INVOICES THEY HAVE!!!  

 Still, they cannot produce an invoice of any debt, and until they do, I'm not telling them s/it.  They can relate no pertinant info about what they say I owe, not even to whom it is owed.  
 They just keep repeating, we need your information or we will be forced to make this decision for you.  We need you to send us your account information before we are forced to make this decision for you etc. for ANY question I ask.  What decision?  No answer.  Who is owed?  No answer.  How much is owed?  No answer.  How did you get my number?  No answer.  I say...Please send an invoice!  They say...We need to make this decision NOW!
 This a//hole has been needing to make this decision NOW for about 4 months and still cannot produce any evidence to me.  Yet somehow, it remains that there is a ticking clock and I need to give them all of my personal financial information right this instant.
 This sounds like a scam to me.  No reputable business would refuse info like this (invoices etc.).  In fact, it is illegal to do so.
 Be very wary of these d/ckheads.

I am getting sick of tired of getting these phone calls of someone ive never heard of. They call me like ten times a day and im tired of it. its been happening for like 4 months. i want it to stop

I keep getting phone calls from this number. When I answer THEY put me on hold for an "agent" for 5 minutes!
I hang up and a few hours later they call back. I have since stopped answering the phone when I see that it is them calling.

Just called today and basically asked me if there wasn't anyone else who could help pay my debt, and if anyone actually loved me enough to help.

I have been getting these calls for over 6 months now on my cell phone and at my parents house. I know who the call is for so I don't pick up anymore because its not for me. I last time I picked up, the lady went crazy on me. She asked for XXX and I said he doesn't live here. She told me that I had to give her his info. And started yelling things I couldn't understand. I told her that it wasn't my job to give her info. That its hers. And when I asked to speak to her supervisor, she hung up on me. The calls stopped for a week, and now they're back. And they call all the time. And that was actually the first time someone said something to me. Its usually dead air.

I called the number on the website for MrsAssociates...888.334.5677 and they were closed for the day...so there was a number to call on their message...1.800.894.4251 - I called and had to wait a minute...I kindly told the associate that I would like to have my number removed from their calling list and that the person they kept calling for was not me...I gave her my number...she said the name...and I said, yeah, that is not me. She said she would remove me from the list that it would take about 24 hours.
Remember it is much easier to kill flies with honey...I think that is how the saying goes...

I followed your advice and got the same email reply...like you, I hope this works! In any case, thanks for the info; you've saved me some headaches, I'll bet...

calls all time of day and night and leave no messages there are stupid. anyone can tell they are a bill collecter co. i thought they could only  call two or so times a day not 50.
