- FCRA laws replies to TRISHA| 5 repliesSince you work for this company. Maybe you can train the employees. The practice that they are doing is against the FCRA LAWS. They will be liable for breaking the law. It is unconstitutional and against the law to do as they are doing. Just a fyi: if you work for them. RUN!!! You can be sued as well as well fined and sentenced per the law. I am a attorney for clients that are bullied and lied to and threatened by fraudulent practices like yours. Judges are now more than happen to set an example of you and your employer. So I would noy condone their actions. Then you're just as bad and illegally practicing collection laws.
Just read the laws and do as the law states. The commission is not worth losing everything. Especially when they are probably paying you minimum wage.
FIND A LAW ABIDING COMPANY TO WORK FOR...Don't be part of a problem.
Fyi. Collection company for bank of america and Experian credit bureau. Just lost $78 million for a much smaller act that this company is doing to a 78yr old lady. 2.2 million settled out of court for unethical collection practices. 38 class actions laws suits currently are in place against united collection bureau. Yes your company you are defending the illegal collection practices that they are doing. Make sure you know the law before you speak. Also people fall on hard times. They have deaths, lose jobs etc. They worry about food and a roof over there head. NOT YOU!!!!! So you're pathetic to say pay your Bill's. You don't have they slightest idea what's going on there life's. All you care about is collecting that money so you can bonus. Get a life.
Oh and FYI: YOU GUYS CALLED ME. About a bill that is currently involved in litigation for identity theft. I was threatened by your company. I found it hilarious and now I'm including your company in a defamation case, breach of FCRA laws by releasing private information to me about an individual. You gave me this person's birthday and social security number. I don't even know them and your company released everything with one question. And I recorded the complete conversation. WOW...Way to easy..try your joke of fraudulent behavior and breaking the law with me.
Someone needs to close them down. Take them to court. It's against the law people...you have rights..
Also so everyone knows. Look up Citi bank collection class action lawsuits related to United collection agency. That's all I have to say...$78 million, $26million, $59 million. Won cases against collection companies breaking the FCRA laws. This was last year. 1000more.
Do deal with them. Record the conversation. Only one person by law has to be aware of the record. So you don't need to tell them. It is admissible in court of law. Bury these companies that think they're above the law. - Tygerkat replies to FCRA laws| 1 replyDo you really expect someone who posted 10 years ago to see your comments? And if you're a lawyer, I'm the Queen of England. Your poorly written post certainly indicates otherwise.

- MikeHuntleton replies to FCRA laws| 1 replyTRISHA posted Jul 2010, nearly a decade ago, so its something we tend to notice, those of us who spend our free time helping others and pointing out to people the fruitlessness of replying to such old posts when all they are doing is ranting useless opinionated personal gripes.
That person might not even work there anymore. I too find it difficult to believe an Attorney would take the time to rant to a decade old post on pg2 in a number thread that very few people will ever see, other than those who received a call from it and this only makes it even less believable:Quote:Since you work for this company. Maybe you can train the employees.
Yeah, like a real Attorney is going to look up a number and post a long winded ranting while in the middle of a conference call......from their phone. I'd believe a wannabe would come up with that "story" though......Quote:3rd of all I'm in the middleofa conference call typing on a cell phone. - Tygerkat replies to MikeHuntletonI've read better stories written by first graders.

Certainly would not want you for an attorney since you don't even know which laws were violated.Quote:The practice that they are doing is against the FCRA LAWS. For the first 2 weeks no message then started leaving a message to collect a debt. Scam of some sort, I have never had an unpaid debt in my life.
