Called on 4/29/2020 at 11:30 AM did not leave a message. Caller ID said: Capital One. I have no accounts with them!

Just got a call from this number on my direct work line.  Ignored it.  I'm with "anonymous" above...JUST DON'T ANSWER calls from numbers you don't recognize.  If it's a legitimate call and someone is truly trying to reach you, they will leave  a message.

This is a robo call.  While if you google the number you will see that it's Capital One, I sincerely doubt it is really Capital One as I, like a few others who've chimed in, don't do business with Cap One.  Suspect (like others) this is just a masked VOIP call that happened to use a number owned by Cap One.  Suspect shady business is afoot.

Scam call from an automated message claiming to be Capital One. I do not do business with Capital One so I already know it's scammy.  Asking for acct info is another red flag.  This is a SCAM

I got a call from this number and did not answer it; I blocked the number. Like many of you, I do not have an account with Capital One. They probably just want to give me a credit card, which I do not want.

It is a scam caller. Got call early in morning by heavy accent guy, Why scammer always speak English with heavy accent? Since it was scam call, played with the guy, gave him bunch of false info, confused him and got him really pissed. Then hung up!

It wasn't Capital one for me, but from some telemarketer who can do debt foregiveness on my credit card debt ($500) but I told her $37,000.  She had a heavy accent and you could hear the boiler room noise in the background.  It sounded like she was from "American Consumer Loan forgiveness"  I only answered because I wanted to mess with her.  This 800 number was the call back after i hung up on the original call.
