- Tygerkat replies to Not CitiCards~You don't have a card with them but called them anyway? Why?
- InuKun replies to BobWhile the number normally is legit, it's likely that scammers are spoofing the number via VoIP in order to try and trick people into answering, in the hopes that the person getting the call has an account with that institution.
- CGot a call claming they are visa master card and there is a problem with my card. Well I don't have a credit card and and last year I look up Visa and Master Card, two completly different companies who each told me this had to be a scam call because their companies have nothing to do with the other and I should never get one call combining these two companies. I reported this to the FTC they told me the same and not to answer these call and never touch phone keys in responce to these call it only leads to more of these calls. I keep getting this same identical message from a different 800# each call for 2 years now. So how can it be a real company phone number? Why am I being call for a card problem when I've never!!! had a card? Also
I've had the same phone number for over 7 years so it can't be a wrong number mix up.- Caller: All they sa is it's Vesa Master Card.

- RogerCalled my cell phone. Left no message. Based on what I read on this site, I believe someone is spoofing a legitimate number for fraudulent purposes. (I do not have a Citi card so they would have no reason to call me, much less on a cell number I only give to friends.) Beware!
- Berna OreshanI KEEP RECIEVING calls from this 800 # and many people state it is CitiBank Credit Card Dept. I DO NOT HAVE A CREDIT CARD WITH THIS COMPANY. Has to be a Fraud!

- tattletaleWhile my called ID states "CITI CARDS", this is not Citi Bank. Caller claimed he was working for "Mastercard and Visa" calling to help me reduce my credit card rates. When I stated that I didn't know they had merged, he claimed they had and then started an expletive laden tirade. When I asked to speak to his supervisor, he disconnected.

- CLAnswered as I was expecting a call from an 800 number. Tells me he is there to help with my credit card issues. When I state what credit cards he states "The ones you called me about. " When I told him he called me and I have no cards he started a very expletive filled rant that I hung up on.

- Zod WindsongSomeone called using this caller ID number but it was faked.
they claim they're from card services are cardmember services THIS IS A SCAM.
I managed to string the guy on the phone, who said his name was Steve but spoke with the worst Indian accent I ever heard, for over 32 minutes, asking him about the fees on the card he was offering me... and every question I could think of to keep him on the line as long as possible and waste his time. then in an attempt to get my credit card information out of me he asked me to repeat my card number I gave him a fake card number expiration date and fake security code and when he tried to verify it he said that the number I gave him was wrong that's why I explained that I get off on trying to keep people on the phone as long as possible make them waste their time keep them from calling other people while I'm talking to them and ended the call with...
"well since you called me with a fake caller ID number I figured I'd give you a fake credit card number I guess fair is fair.
I did explain that I needed that time so I could get his exact location by hacking his system over the internet."
Then I explained to him that I was a hacker and I just hacked a Chinese Destroyer and launched a missile to his location. I told him he had 6 minutes to live and he should probably run as fast as possible. then I asked if you could stay on the phone because I wanted to hear him scream as he blew up.
the moral of the story is people don't just accept these calls and report them get back at them strike fear in them make them regret their career choice and make them run and scream for mercy.- Caller: SCAMMERS IN INDIA

- LeeGot a call from this number. They hung up and left no message. From this wonderful site, I gleaned it might be from Citi Card Corporation. I called the number on the back of my card and talked to a Citi representative. He consulted his directories for such a number and found no reference. In checking up on my account, he said he could find no reason for Citi to be callijng me. He ventured it might be a scam ploy.
- aakFemale caller called about "reproduction on your existing credit card." I have never held nor possessed the card the caller referenced. This most definitely has to be a scam caller. Companies of cards I hold have a specific manner of contacting their customers, and this caller is not want of them.
