Then the people of Discover should know their phone number.  When I contacted Discover through my account online, they said they do not show this number in their directory and have no notes on my account about contacting me. SCAM

Man called asked for my husband by name I sd he wasn't home the guy continued well since ur the one who pays the bills ( how would he know that?) He could talk 2 me I sd ok then he continued saying that we should sign up for automatic payments he gave me my full address & I told him no I didn't want to sign up for automatic payments & did not confirm my address told him I new it was a scam & he sd it's not a scam & sorry won't bother you no more if it really was discover they would not have talked to me I've tried calling discover to give them info on my husbands account & they sd could not talk to me without my husbands permission even thoe I have a card on my husbands account they called the day before & actually left a msg for us to call them back but we didn't you should  block them if you can & don't answer their calls at all its a scam

The caller left a message identifying herself as being from Discover Card.  I never answer this type of call.  I called the toll free number on the back of my card and was told that they had no record of anyone calling about my account.

Well spoken female speaking unaccented English called to speak with me from Discover Card in Phoenix, Arizona about a personal business matter. The number she called from was she said "working from home due to the Pandemic". Was evasive about the "personal business matter" until I confirmed personal details which I declined. Possibly telemarketing for Discover to set up autopay.

Most likely debt collection.  They are well known to go to extremely lengths to harass their card members if they become late on paying.
