- Josh replies to Kat| 4 repliesJust FYI, VI Passports is NOT an accredited business with the BBB, as you claim. Although, they're grading by the BBB is a "B".
And I've sat through 3 different presentations like this, and VI Passports was by far the most impressive...but my wife and I still said no and are happy we did. - Li replies to nicole.Got this same call today from 253-520-3734. Guy's name was "Mackey"!
Yikes!
They claimed to be from Paradise Getaway and that a free trip to Vegas or Mexico would be supplied through a company called Vacations International.
AVOID- do not give them any info. - blob555scaammmm scammmm vi passports tukwila washington. i was called today and just like everyone else told i won 3days 2 nights vacation, 500 gift spree. to much coincidence im not going thanks "tommy" u suck

- Ed replies to DeenaThe free dinner and limo ride are real, it was really nice but the "Free Vacation" I really do not know what the true cost is. We had to send in $50 to register. This was followed up with a Email asking for an additonal $300 to register. We did not send in the $300 so do not know just how much they would have asked for eventually.
- Carrie replies to KiraDO NOT DO THIS...IT IS A SCAM! I sent for my FREE trip several months ago...along with the $50 per person registration fee. Have not received a thing!! RIP OFF!!! And thier $500 shopping spree? A JOKE! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!
- carrie replies to Josh| 3 repliesI would love the phone number to this company. I have been trying EVERYTHING I can do to get ahold of them. That so called "FREE" trip cost me over $100 and I havent received the "voucher" yet. I did my part now it's time for the "travel company" to do thiers. I sent the money back in February and haven't heard anything yet! When I call the 800# it has a busy signal then dial tone. When I do a reverse phone number search nothing shows up. I called another tenant in the Tukwila office building and they don't even have the number! SOMETHING IS VERY FISHY!!
- Clem replies to carrie| 2 repliesThey say "no pressure" do NOT believe it! We were told by the people that run the 90 minute meeting that they would never buy anything from that place. Also, the meal is $20 per limit per person plus you have to go to a designated area to be picked up by the limo. You are responsible for taxes and gratuity plus you have to pay $18 up front to even sign up! DO NOT GO !
- casa g replies to Clem| 1 replyMy husband and I went to the presentation May 1st. As of June 15, we have not received our $500 shopping voucher. I made a copy of the voucher before sending it in. I also made sure it had extra postage cause the rates were increasing soon. Tonight (June 15) I called the number on the original voucher and it some guy's cell number that dosen't even work for the company, He said it was a misprint.
My husband works in the Tukwilla area, so he is going to go there tomorrow in person to ask them about it. - XrayJust was called with the full details and nonsense. Schedule to time to show up to the presentation in Tukwilla at 6:00 tonight. Googled and noticed this forum. Not going now. Think I'll go golfing instead. Bye the way the nimber I was told to call back was 1-800-706-1034 ext. 56 to speak with Emily.

- Just another markFilled out a $1000 Target drawing at Bite of Seattle July 18th, 2009. I don't recall any mention of other offerings or companies at the time, just Target. Monday morning, I get a call from 206-396-6311, Paradise Something-or-other, associated with VI Passport. Same deal as everyone else here. Told me to quickly call 800-706-1034, ext 111, someone was waiting for my call right now!
Whatever, bottom line, I need to go to their Seattle "showroom" for a 90 minute "private reception" (for a completely undescribed product, but I discern from this forum, obviously a time share). There was clearly mention of the trip to the same locations noted elsewhere in this forum. I don't specifically recall the limo/dinner thing, but I might have been glazing over by that point.
If my wife gets the same call I'm don't know whether to laugh or cry. The odds that we would both "win the drawing" are ridiculous. There's like 20,000 people at Bite of Seattle and they called me?! Yeah right, sure. Trust me, they called EVERYONE who filled out a submission.
It's like a contest in third grade. Everyone wins, no one goes home a loser...except everyone.- Caller: Paradise something-or-other
- Jay| 12 repliesIt's a scam. There are too many indications that it's a scam to not be a scam. I went to the meeting to check them out and, yes, it's a scam...
FIRST: At the meeting, they get really friendly, SUPER-DUPER friendly, trying to connect, Desperately, at a close level; trying to find a cozy connection with you, and then they try and sell you the "vacation package."
SECOND: They shy away from the company website questions, saying "we have no photos on it," and "it's only for members," and "this deal is a one-day-only deal." Why wouldn't their website have photos For Their Own Members/Owners!?!?
THIRD: If they Actually Want To Sell Something that is expensive, Why require an Immediate Decision?!?!?! Hello: HIGH-PRESSURE SALE!!!
FOURTH: "FREE" Prizes??? TOTAL SCAM!!! Up-front costs for FREE STUFF? Coupons require you to pay taxes, but they don't require pre-paid mail-in bull crap! What Limo Company? What Designated Pick-Up Location? WHO THE HELL DO I CALL TO EVEN SET UP THE DINNER DATE?!?!?! I gotta send in $18.00 before I know ANYTHING AT ALL ABOUT THE "FREE" DINNER?!?!?!
FIFTH: If you try to research the companies offering the free stuff or vacation pkg., VI Passport or Pacific Exchange Marketing, on the WA State DOL website, THEY DON'T EXIST (fake companies)!!! This is a bait-and-switch scheme (free stuff, oh, wait, you gotta pay), felony fraud (fake businesses making/stealing $), and possibly ID theft (if they use/sell personal/CC info.).
SIXTH: Check this out: the 3 day, 2 night vacation getaway is det up by "Vacation Getaways," a California company and, if you look them up under CA state businesses, the business license under that name is: SUSPENDED!!!!!!!!!!
SCAM!!! The end.- Caller: VI Passports
- Call type: Unwanted
- JayForgot to add:
SEVEN: They want $65.00 up-front for a processing fee on a certificate for a FREE vacation before any reservations are made at all.
EIGHT: Call the phone # on the certificate. It's bogus; it's a voice message telling you to read your certificate again and, if you don't understand it, you still can't talk to someone, you have to go to www.certificateforyou.com and Fill In The Contact Info. to get any information!!! What, you can't even Call This Company?!?!?!
EIGHT: "VI Passports," as some of us understand is their name, claims to be a company in WA state, but the WA State Dept. Of Licensing has NO RECORD WHATSOEVER OF ANY COMPANY EVEN RESEMBLING THAT NAME!!!!!!!!!- Caller: repeat

- bkindt2all replies to casa gWe went to Snoqualmie's Train festival yesterday and I signed up for a $1000 giveaway from Target. I looked to see who was sponsoring it, and couldn't find anything so asked. The lady said that major companies use their company (didn't mention their name) to market them, as in Target in this case. Then today I get this call from 'vi passports.' He said that I'd filled out an entry and that I won a free trip. Unfortunately I still remember a similar painful lesson from when I was 18. Same scam but that time I thought I had won a cruise and ended with no cruise and $300 in the hole. Anyways, while on the phone I googled and found this site. Exactly as I thought. I waited for him to finish his shpeal and said 'no thanks' and hung up!! Thanks all for your input!!
- ad| 1 replyI just received a phone call from these people. the number was actually 1800 706 1034 or 253 249 7337. i had agreed to go to the meeting but glad i looked this up....it sounds too good to be true!!

- lilmzma replies to adI... also just received a call today regarding this sweep stake thing, claims they're calling from paradise get a way. Says same thing 3 days 2 nights vacation package, if we attend the meeting at VI Passports Wed. at 6 with no obligation in signing or paying anything. Also if we come to the meeting that we'll receive $500 online shopping spree and if we come 5 mins early get a free dinner at what ever said at previous post with anthony's and so on... After reading all the posts... Never mind.... kinda figure there was something wrong... I guess, me and my fiance is staying in....
Number they called me on 253-249-7339 - RachelI have been called several times now by this company and they leave me voicemails saying something generic along the lines of "you entered a drawing on a bridal website for a free vacation and you won! Please call us back to claim your prizes". I deleted all the voicemails because I thought "yeah, whatever" and then they called again today so I thought what the heck, I might as well call back and just see what they say, and they offered me all of the same deals that they offered everyone else, "FREE" 2 night, 3 day stay plus "FREE" airfare, plus the limo ride, gift cards and so on. She then started hassling me about setting up an appointment right away but I got suspicious so I told her I would have to talk to my fiance about when we'd have time to come to the seminar and I'd have to call her back. She kept bugging me about when I would call her back and then said it would have to be tonight and to MAKE SURE I CALLED to set it up. She seemed way too pushy so I decided to google it and thank god I did! =) I'll be calling them back when I get off work to tell them that I know that it's a scam and shame on them!

- mI didnt even attend a bridal show, and I'm being contacted by a bunch of people. One of which was Royal PRestige, telling me how unhealthy i was living, and how to budget better, and how I won a Trip , and $50 voucher for the pans, and a voucher for savings on groceries for a year.
I just googled them and They are a scam or 3!!! All we needed to do was attend a mtg.- Caller: Royal PRestige
