This was another one that came from the same bridal show i didn't attend. They go by paradise getaway, but represent VI PASSPORTS,  a company you can't even google, except to get negative feedback. They offered me trips, and a limo dinner for 2- IF i give them time to listen to what they have to offer down in Tukwila. SEriously!!! Such a joke!

Called twice yesterday, left one voice mail about a "fantastic trip I won" and I couldn't remember ever entering a raffle like this. They called back today from V.I. Passports and when asked where they got my number it was from a Bridal Show I attended a year ago and the drawing I entered was for a Target gift card. Well I just learned my lesson. She asked me if I was married? Engaged? Had a Significant other and made over 40k a year. Went on to talk about the fabulous vacation destinations and other "free" perks, but only if I sign up to make an apt right this minute!!! She was nice on the phone, not pushy, and I was amused by what she was obviously reading to me/memorized to recite. When I said I couldn't make it, ever, she thanked me and hung up very quickly. I hope this will be the last I hear from them. The showroom was located in Seattle, and in the voice mail they wanted me to call back an 800 number w/ extension.

I just got a call from 1-253-929-8876 as VI Passports (same deal) but they gave me a little more information:

    contact Megan at
    253-929-8896

I haven't called this number because after reading the information here, feel that there is no need for me to waste my time with this any longer.  I just wanted to pass along some extra information for any of those unfortunate to believe them and then not get their vouchers.

253-929-8896 ext 32 - Rep name Ruby called today from Paradise GoodWays, which I believe is VI Passports some type of Timeshare scam that they want people to spend their hard working money on.  These people are so funny, they are not pushy but they want you to go to their presentation and hope that you will get sucked in.  Once you are in they are super pushy and expect you to walk out buying a piece of nothing.
I would like to say more but i should stop myself.  Thanks

Did anyone on here ACTUALLY go to the presentation?  I've been invited since we entered a drawing for a motorcycle at the auburn mall.  They are offering me a 3 day 2 night cruise with air.  I am set to go on Friday.

i used to work for this company...its not worth your time what so ever. there are so many fees and restrictions. in most cases its cheaper just to book a full price vacation yourself. most of the flights depart from los angeles. so if you live in the seattle area, you would be responsible for getting to los angeles...and on the way back...getting home from los angeles. don't fall for it. not worth your time or money.

i used to work for this company...they have something called a referral program. where someone goes to a presentation, they give an anonymous list of friends numbers in order to get an additional free gift for themself...so if you didnt sign up for anything....someone gave your name and number out.

Yeah it's just a scam. My wife and I spent the time to go to this and we got there and we signed the paper work as you come in the door. They called our names and were escorted into an office and said we are not eligible for the 90 min. seminar. Our annual gross salery wasn't in the 50,000.00 and above. So they gave us the Free limo and dinner. Don't waste your time. Not worth the time.

If you enter a drawing anywhere nowadays, it is a telemarketer getting your info. They then use the info to send you to their clients presentations. Paradise Getaways is a 3rd party company hired by TimeShare companies to get clients in the door for presentations. VIPassport is merely a front name for a company called Demand Vacations who again is yet another 3rd party company selling for a timeshare called Vacation Internationale. Do not confuse VIPassport with Vacation Internationale as they are definately 2 seperate companies. VIPassport is very shady and will say anything to get the sale. I did buy ownership in Vacation Internationale and I am very happy with it. I have been an owner for several years and have had no problems with them. I never used my "free" gifts from VIPassport as they are always worthless no matter whose presentation you go to. Bottom line, If you love to travel and are looking into buying vacation ownership Vacation Internationale is the best I've seen. Buy directly from them though....Do not go to VIPassport, they are a total scam!

So...you really feel this is a bogus deal?  That its not worth even going to the seminar to see what they have have to offer?? I agree with most of the people that if they say its free it should be 100% free!! Just curious what you think because we are schedule to go this week?

I worked at Paradise Getaways briefly.  It was a very high-pressure call-center, but I needed the income.  They had us calling numbers on sweepstakes entry cards that were YEARS old.  If the person we called asked to be removed from their list, we marked the card appropriately but I later found out they just recycle them anyway.  We were required to get specifics about income, etc. and try VERY HARD to get people to agree to attend a free seminar.  If charm didn't work you were expected to argue, even yell at them.  It took a while for me to fully realize just what a horrible disgusting scam it all was.  I hated every minute there and was SO glad to leave!

I do not work for this company, but I personally know the owner, and she does NOT encourage her employees to argue with potential customers over the phone 'if charm does not work'. Sadie is simply a discruntled employee who had a crappy phone voice and sucked at her job, didn't show up 90 percent of the time and was let go, so now, out of spite, she has nothing but negative garbage to spew. Also, the company does not 'recycle' folks who ask to be taken off the call list. That is a complete lie. Most of the naysayers on here who are leaving negative comments haven't even ATTENDED  the presentation, and yet they feel obligated to act and sound as if they know what they are talking about. As far as the gifts go, they now use a certificate which costs their company almost 100 dollars each, but in turn there is ZERO out of pocket expense for the person who wants to use it and all flights leave out of the sea-tac airport. Another thing, if you were called because you entered a drawing for a free vacation, a car, or cash, why complain? You should be smart enough to realize that anything that you enter for is for promotional purposes, otherwise the companies would not be giving away items such as Cars or Cash which are not cheap! Yes, it's to invite you to a sales presentation, and you do not have to purchase the product, and you will still get an awesome vacation which is completely free. Who would actually cry or complain if someone offered you a free vacation, especially when you entered for a promotional drawing in the first place? Like I said, I know the owner and she is completely legit and the vacation certificates the company gives out are the best ones out there, not to mention the 30 dollar dinner cards they give to the olive garden or red lobster.

Got a call from 253-737-4785 and they told me to call back at 253-929-8896 x32 by 4pm the same day because I had won a drawing.  I haven't entered a drawing in a while so assumed it was a scam.  Reading the notes above, I did attend Taste of Seattle 3 years ago and won the same deal.  Unfortunately, I did attend at that time and it is completely bogus.

That's interesting, because they have a very  good rating with the Better Business Bureau.
A rating which is considered excellent and been around since 2004 and with the BBB since 7/2005.

I just contacted them today by e-mail and ph. call. I'm hoping to do business with them and hope that they will get back with me in a timely fashion.

    Thanks,
    Art
