- ChrisNThis time his name was Ray from Microsoft tech and he needed to fix my computer. I laid into him, telling him there was nothing wrong with my computer and that he was a thief and to remove me from their calling list. We'll see. I also blocked the number on my CPR call blocker.

- Steven W.The name appears as Clayton White and he claims to be a representative of Microsoft. I fell for something like this about a year ago. It is a scam to get you to let them access your computer, and get you to pay for computer service. THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!!
- Caller: microsoft (but not really)
- JoThe guy from this number called me and said that he was from Windows support and that there was a problem with my computer. This is the THIRD time this man, or someone that sounds like him has called. The man has a heavy Indian accent and he calls from DIFFERENT numbers. This time he threatened me. He said that he was President Obama's cousin and he would have me put in jail. He said that they would come tonight and pick me up to take me to jail and that he was calling his cousin, President Obama!!!!!!!! Can you believe that! He was not nice at all and very threatening! I told him that I already turned him in to the US Government the first time he called. And to put me on the do not call list...that I put my numbers on years ago. I had to hang up on him.
- Caller: Windows Microsoft

- KYes, this criminal called my parents number and I did not answer. Of course, there was no message left. I checked whitepages.com and this number does belong to a real person in Utah. This is sad that these a-- h---- not only use someone's personal name and phone number, but they obviously have criminal intentions. My parents do not even have a computer. Do not give these jerks the time of day!!! Caller ID read: "Clayton White".
- Caller: COMPUTER NEEDS FIXING SCAM
- Frustrated| 2 repliesGot a call from this number. I did not recognize it on my caller ID. They hung up as soon as my answering machine answered and did not leave a message. My dad, who is elderly, got a call from them about a month ago. They wanted to dial into his computer, which he does not have....LOL. My dad played along with them and kept asking what keys do I press and what does the screen look like and all kinds of dumb questions. They got so frustrated with him that they hung up. We got a good laugh about it.
- Caller: 801-225-4320
- CharlieHe's called twice now. Both times I cut to the chase and be hung up pretty quick. I'm actually looking forward to our next conversation, I'll play along a little for fun.
- Caller: Microsoft (fake)
- CindySame as other callers. Clayton White from the Technical Department wanted to alert me to a problem with Windows on my computer. I too fell for something like this about a year ago and ended up having my computer damaged beyond repair. This time I strung him along for awhile, as if I was going to work on the computer. He finally realized I wasn't going to bite, so he hung up. I am also on the federal Do Not Call list.
Can't someone do something about these guys?- Caller: 801-225-4320
- MCGot a call from said his name was Jason, from the technical department of eastern... (he was reading the script so slowly and had such a bad accent I got board and just hung up at that point.) I am sure he was going to tell me my computer had a virus and needed to pay him money to remove it. but I did not feel like wasting my time messing with him. SCAM (and why is not scam one of the call types?)
