- CAB| 2 repliesThis is a scam!! They are selling a security system and not telling you until they take over your computer.
It is over $300 for a lifetime and the callers will not give up. I fought them all the way and then this man

- JULIE M replies to CABif you dont know these people just hang up on them, they dont care about you, they would sell their Mother for a dollar, and their kids for 50 cents.
- AnonAnother f***ing SCAMMER! Caller ID said White, Clayton M. Did not answer, left no message. Have blocked number. If these people were truly honest, they would leave a name, number and state their business.

- SUA little worried as received a call from Clayton White today. Did not answer, but just found out that during the past 2 days, someone in another state drained our checking account. They made a fake card and swiped it at every place they visited.
- CWG40 replies to CABJust hang up on them and do not pick up on calls you do not recognize. Never allow a stranger access to your computer.
- Margie replies to JonThankfully we don't answer calls we don't recognize, so I'm not in the same boat as you. He sounds off his rocker.
- MargeiieWe never answer calls we don't know who they are, so let it ring for the machine to get it. (yes, we're older and have a good old machine with the volume up so we can hear if a message is left) So curiosity made me google the number and came here to see it's the old 'your computer has a virus' scam. Glad I didn't bother!
- Caller: Clayton White
- Margie replies to MshuggeFUN. I should do that with my husband as the FBI man. Good thinking!
- Clayton Don't call an Apple UserClayton White showed on the caller ID but he kept saying hello hello can you hear me so I thought I would look up the number and he hung up
- Former Network AdminI received a call from good ol Clayhead today. He told me there was something wrong with my Windows on my computer. I played like a liberal Democrat and played along like I was really stupid. I just cleaned my screen yesterday, I told him ... and that's how it started. Being on a headset and having a second computer on the same desk, I turned up to sound on that one and quickly searched for my sound effects. As a listened to Clayheads directions as to what I needed to do so he could access my computer I played sounds like attempts were made. Naturally, I didn't know where to enter his commands and couldn't find the backslash and the ".com" I kept saying dotcom. It's not connecting, it's not connecting, he'd say and I 'd say, yes I see a box that says "connected". Finally I said, "it says 'connected services through US Gov/FBI Investigative Unit..." he hung up so fast. I really don't expect another call from this guy or any of his roommates again.

- AnnoyedCaller ID said Clayton White. Heavily accented male voice said he was calling in regard to a problem with my computer. I said I didn't have a computer and he hung up.
- TyHe has called several times and changed his name a few times. Find the direct number to your local police or sheriff dispatch and then when he calls, sound relieved that he's calling to help, but say to call you back on your home phone because your reception is bad on your cell phone, and then give the number for the sheriff or police.
- SCCalled work number. Caller ID came up at WHITE CLAYTON.
- DonCJust missed a call. Phone ID listed "White Clayton." I read the other summaries here so I won't answer next time either. I don't have any Microsoft hardware in the house.
- MaryCalled just now saying my email and Internet searches were sending out infected files, etc. I asked him if how he knew to call ME and if it was because it was presumed that I was running MS. He said, "Madam, we are Microsoft technical support" I said "No you're not"... He started to argue with me like I didn't know what I was talking about. (because I'm a woman maybe?) I said to him, "what would you say if I told you I was running Linux Server at the moment?" He said "Linux?" and hung up. BTW, the number he called is an unlisted number at my org to reach the IT Support Specialists directly.
- Lisasasa56Got a call from a very belligerent man with a thick Indian accent insisting he was from Microsoft and dictating that my Microsoft service was stopped and that I had to logon my computer and go to the msconfig to see all the "stopped" services I had... then he told me to go to a webpage and I wouldn't go. He got hostile and kept telling me that my computer had alerted them to call me, so I told him to tell me what kind of computer I have. But he insisted it was just my Microsoft account so he didn't know but he did know my name. (consistent with someone else's report that they use the phone directory) I still felt suspicious because he was so rude and then hung up on him. they called back 5 times in succession before finally stopped. Then I googled both this phone phone number and the website they sent to http://121usahelp.com/windows.html to see all the fraud reports. Scarily if he had been polite I might have acquiesced but I kept thinking no business person would actually talk to people this way.
- Caller: http://121usahelp.com/windows.html
- a replies to Jonsame here, except I didn't answer when he kept calling back. He DID ask if I was home alone!
