Received a call from this number. A person represented to be from Bank of America. I asked to verify that and she was able to correctly tell me the last 4 digits of my social and last 4 digits of my Bank of America credit card number. So it seemed to be legitimate, but then I suddenly realized that I have never given the number they called at to Bank of America. So I quickly told them I'm not intetested in whatever services they offered (it was something about credit reports) and they hang up in 2 seconds. I'm somewhat concerned that these guys might have stolen my identity (although I checked my credit report one week ago and there was no fraudulent activity on it).
I'm still guessing who it can be that they obtained that much of my idenity yet failed to obtain my phone number that is listed in both my credit history file and Bank of America file.

Called the number back and told them my number and they said it would be removed from the call list

Call was made to my house twice I answered the secound time. The caller Identified herself as a B of A employee and wanted me to enroll in a credit check program to monitor my credit report. When I questioned her if she knew my address she came up blank. I told her to have a nice day. I tried to phone back immediatly and got an instant message that their office was closed.

I've just started to get calls from (801) 297-7808. It's pretty obvious it's some type of scam. The people that actually picked up all got different answers to who was calling, (Bank of America, PNC Bank and BOA) It's strange that all 3 companies were listed under the same phone number. I don't think they are legit. Never give out any information, even your Social Security Number, bank account numbers and credit card numbers. It can be a scam and once you give it away, you are pretty much screwed. Beware!!!! =)

I get this call so many times, I finally picked up. Just said Hello, waited a few seconds, someone said "I am looking for __ __." I said "Yes, can you please stop calling? Thank you!" And hung up. Hopefully the calls end.

Have been recieving calls from this number for over a week now, it says lits UNAVAILABLE. We are on the state & national "DO NOT CALL" lists. We do not answer unavailable calls. My husband call the number back and got a private residence.  They have called several times per day.  I would not do business with a company like this, I would really like to know what company it is. This number is now blocked from out phone.

Call at least 5 times a week and no body will say anything at all.

multiple calls from this number for the past week.  All list as unavailable and we have not answered any.

Over the last week, I have been receiving calls, but no messages from this number. My caller ID indicates it's from "Teleperformance."

I don't answer calls, without knowing who is calling, so they're wasting their time. I'm also on the "Do not call" list.

This number is on my caller id several times a day for the last week or so.  I finally answered.  They said nothing.  I waited on the line, then the person on the other end hung up.  Creep.

For the last two weeks I have gotten a call from this company twice a day.  Finally I picked up the phone and no one would respond (even though I heard noises).  Then I heard an unusual noise like someone was hacking into my phone line.  I instantly hung up.  I called back and the answering machine said they were closed.

We started getting multiple calls per day from "Salt Lake City" about two weeks ago.  The auto dialer would disconnect when I answered the phone.  Extremely frustrating!  I finally was connected to a breathing telemarketer when I answered an 8:45 p.m. call.  I let her go through her entire speech (and it was a long one!).  Turns out it was Bank of America trying to sell me credit protection.  I told her to remove me from their list, and I also filed a complaint with BOA. The calls have stopped, thank goodness!

If you are ignoring these calls hoping they'll go away, automated dialers don't care.  They'll keep calling back.  Best bet is to talk to them and request that they not call you any more.

I get several calls a day from this number.  I do not answer as I do not recognize it and believe it to be a scam.  Whoever it is never leaves a message.  I want them to stop calling.

these calls won't end!  I asked them to please stop calling my house and the next day (Sat.) the called at 9:30am, 10:30am then 11:30am and I don't know how many times during the evening after I get home from work.  I just got off the phone with the FTC and they gave me the office that controls BOA and they are called Office of Controller of Currency the number is 1800-613-6743.  I'm calling after this post.

calls constantly and wont leave message on my answering service

calls two or more times a day for the past 2 or 3 weeks.  I don't answer, let it go into voicemail, but they never leave a message.

8 calls in 2 days.  Calls between 9AM and 6PM.  We are on the DNC list, but they call anyway.  Said it would take 30 days to remove from their list, but they are only one call center who uses that list.
Irony of Ironies: They represented something called "Privacy Assist" to protect you from identity theft.  Amazing...

just started receiving these calls and tried calling back thinking something was wrong, but just got our offices are closed. found this message board, so now I know to not answer, but if for some reason i forget(!) to tell them to leave me alone.  Thanks for the info:)

Every night like clockwork about 7pm, also has the last four digits of 7808 which some say is a Bank Of America root...
