I also saw this vehicle on Craigslist same scam, perp claims to be a Sergeant in the Air Force Robert Carew. I did a little research and e-mailed him back stating that if agreed to insuring my money thru escrow that we could start the transaction have not heard a peep from him since so don't fall for this joker's scam thanks Rikker.

Not a phone call, but man, I thought I had found the sweetest deal on a 92 Nissan 300ZX TT, for $2000!?!  I couldn't believe.  This just happened right now BTW.  I hustled the money together and sat here waiting for the guy to call, and decided I'd google his email address in the meantime.  I knew it was too good to be true.  He was using ndy888@gmail.com  It's in one of your lists from last month.  What a buncha [***].

Craigslist ad in Tulsa for a 2003 Lexus FX45 for $5,500 with only 32,600 miles!  I knew it was a scam, so I decided just to screw with this guy as long as I can.  He's using the domain safety-payments.com for sending his fake eBay emails.  Here is his response to my asking him to fax a copy of the title:
As I've told you at this moment I am in Great Falls, MT in a military base getting ready for Iraq. This mean that I do a special training program and I am not allowed to get out of the unit or give calls whenever I want. The shipping can't be a problem because I can do it at no cost for you.
eBay is the third party involved who will offer us both protection.Let me tell you how we will make this deal:
1.You will have to give me your full name and shipping address and I will open a case.
2.You will be contacted by eBay
3.You will send the money at eBay
4. I will start the shipping  process
5.In 2-3 days the car and all the documents that you need to pass it on to your   name will arrive to the address you provided to eBay
6.You will have 5 days to inspect and test drive the car
7.If there are any kind of problems with the car which I don't think will be the case, you will be fully refunded and I will take responsibility to pay around $200 to ship it to the closest eBay warehouse until I find another buyer.
The deposit you make will be kept by eBay until you will receive and inspect the car.There is no risk in this deal.The transaction is simple so everything should go as planned.I have to tell you I will sell the car to the first one who starts this deal by sending the payment.

Well I was in the middle of dealing with this lady Emma Howell. She seemed really eager to send me the car saying its already packed in a station in FL and yet on craigsist shes listed in LA. I didnt have the money then and it took me a whole 2 weeks to get the money, and when I contacted her again to my surprise the car is still for sale?? a $15000 rangerover sport supercharged for sale for more than 2 weeks? WOW. She tells me her child is sick and that she cant respond too quickly and i admit I fell for it. I still havent sent her any money, but I just found out she is a scam, what should I do?

scammed by this same person or copycat! he faxed vehicle carfax which showed vehicle vin and serial number. I took those to local authorities who pulled up auto info. This person has the tahoe advertised to sell to me, in his possession in the UK. Also i have a supena to get info on whoever signed for this money gram over in the UK. I sent 4750.00 to this person and it costed 95.00 to send it. when shipping didn't occur and we reliazed we were scammed, it almost broke up a 18 year marriage. I feel certain that who ever doing this needs to know jesus christ as their savior. this person is as evil as the day is long. If they knew of christ love, they would never be involved with stealing and hurting people this way.  I pray for this person everyday and i know God will have his will in this situation. Amen

I just got the same bullsh*t for two different vehicles and a boat! I created a bogus email just to see and low and behold, basically the same email for two different trucks and he is using REAL people in the service. This guy is a real "piece or work". I ran the vin numbers and they check out clean.  An 05 Tacoma and an 05 Escalade.  See emails below

This is Nationwide fraud. The same ads are being placed in every major city in the United States. Scammers are posing as military personnel and/or desperate people in need.

Do not agree to send money via eBay. Do not buy cars that need to be shipped. If it looks too good to be true, it is.
