Well we can add this leach to the list!  Thankfully I googled the email addy and found this site b/4 we fell for the scam.  There's also another one here in the Houston area that is going around with a Gold truck, Toyota Tacoma as well, it's a differen year model.  I'll post it if I find it, I think someone already flagged it with Craigslist.  Here are the emails that he sent us.  And for the recod it relly pi@@e@ me off that this scumbag beastard has the gall to defile our Air Force's name by caliming that he's a Sargent no less!  That is really low, but pretty much in line for such a low life to be working the scam in the first place.  HTH

I too have had an encounter with someone on Craigslist posing as a member of the U.S. Military stationed in the UK.  The deal was too good not to follow up on, and I did.  The seller provided me with the Vin #, which I checked out on Carfax.  The Vin # was real, but a suspicious comment left by a potential buyer prompted me to do some more digging.  It turns out that the REAL Jerry Neild is a high-ranking member of the Royal Air Force.  After reading the posts on this site I have concluded that this is a scam and I will no longer pursue this truck.  Thanks everyone for being so diligent!

The price for 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid 50th Anniversary Edition is $4,950 and the shipping cost to your address is included. This guy tried to scam me aswell he has an ad on craigslist for a 2004 Chevy Silverado.I emailed him said he was in the Air force was getting shipped out to Iraq and needed to sell the truck soon for $5250.He wouldnt call me only emails.Then he sent me an Ebay invoice wanting a money gram,I called ebay it's ALL FAKE.What a [***]!!
