If I got any calls from that number, I didn't answer them. (If I don't recognize it, I don't answer it.)  I did just see our Visa statement with a bogus charge of $69.95 from "PERIL SAINT".  It seems like everyone was charged within the same week.  We were charged 01/12/2011.  I filed a charge dispute with the bank, along with an email explaining all the fraudulent charges I've read about from everyone.  I tried to research the number and only found out the service provider.  It does say that this (801-436-7616) is a landline with an unpublished number.  Tomorrow morning, I'm going to give their service provider the full scoop on their criminal customer, and hopefully put an end to this #@*^!   I agree about finding the common link between all of us...  some use RedBox, some don't, so that can't be it.  What about PayPal or Amazon?

OK, I called Bandwidth.com this morning to report that one of their customers is using their service to scam people all over the US.  The rep asked for the number, he looked it up, said he would transfer me to someone that could help with this.  I waited on hold for 15 minutes, then it went to a voicemail.  I left a message, and of course, have not heard back from them.  From his hesitation after looking up the number, I'm going to assume that that is one of their customers.  I don't know that for sure, but I feel that if that wasn't one of their numbers he would have told me right then.  I'm giving this info to our bank so that maybe they'll talk to them.  I know that privacy is an issue, but if the banks contact them, and it's involving fraud, they'll have to give out the info.  (At least, that's what I've heard.)  We'll see...  so far, I think all the charges range from 01/11/2011 - 01/14/2011.  I haven't seen anything later than that.
I've been trying to think of universal shopping like Amazon, PayPal, 1800Contacts...  that we all have in common.  Any suggestions?

I found an investigative reporter with one of the Utah news stations and emailed her.  I'm hoping that someone in that area can find out who this thief is and shut them down.  I'll post if I find out anything.

    I live in Texas.
I showed my card to the clerk when I checked in to a hotel in Santa Fe NM on Jan 11.  When I checked out on Jan 13, the card was correctly charged for the lodging.  This was the only time that card was used during the billing period.
When I got my statement, it had a charge to PERIL SAINT of $69.95 dated Jan 11.  I called the card issuer, and they said it was for publishing or printing, said maybe I bought a magazine.  No.  I tried the number 801-436-7616 in Utah, it just beeps.
The Fraud Dept at my card issuer then said my card has been compromised.  They canceled the card, a new one is in the mail.  For some number of days now, I don't have the card.  The amount has not yet been removed from my balance.
You would think the bank could figure out who they gave the money too..?

Same exact thing happened to me.  A charge on my credit card for 69.95 on 1/12/11.  When I called the company, I didn't get a ring tone, only 2 beeps then nothing.  Fortunately, my credit card company reversed the charge for me.

I paid my magazine bill with a new account won't say name don't know if supposed to, first time someone got 39.95. I messaged them and finally got my money back from a third party who bought Card #. Then this month a 69.95 charge was taken from our account. I disputed it. Bank cancelled card supposed to get a new one. They said might be the magazine account. This is awful. We live on fixed income and every dime counts.

Yes...  there's a whole page of us charged by NORTH BEDFORD - WY, 307-509-0020, same charge of $69.95.  We canceled our cards.
I was told that everyone needs to file a complaint with ic3.com.
There has to be a flood of complaints for anything to get done, or else these &*#@s get away with it over and over again.

I also had deductions for each $69.95, 1st one 1/12 then 2/7, and (2) on 2/10 from the name UT Imperial, UT Impressive, WY North Bedford with this phone # 702- 530-7529. They all have the address listed  7700 EastPort on my bank statement.  I believe they all are connected. By the way my son check this address (google) and they are a Telemarketer.   I live in MI. I use my card as debit and credit, pay some bills on-line. I have not rented any DVD's. That's 140.00 this month... can't afford that I'm unemployed. My bank in still investigating and credited my account with only 1 transaction amount.  Also my caller ID with phone # 702 520 1485, Las Vegas  (never been there). Maybe the same scamers.  I'll have to cancel my card. I sure hope they find out who the scamer's are. Wonder if I can pursue any legal actions? Hope this helps somebody.

Me too in New Jersey.....$69.95, posted to my credit card on 1/12/11. I found it on my statement that came in the mail today. I had just received a call on Sunday from my credit cards fraud dept. about some charges that didn't seem quite right and they were indeed fraudulent charges. They put in a dispute for the bogus charges and canceled my card but this one got past them. I had not received any phone calls from Peril Saint either and when I tried to call the number on my card statement I got the same as some other people got, a couple of beeps. I called my credit card company about this one today and they said I won't be responsible for this one either. KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR STATEMENTS FOR MORE FRAUDULENT CHARGES. If it follows the same pattern as mine you might see more right around the beginning February.
