They called wanting to see me a security system.

They called trying to sell me a security system.

This is really getting annoying. He somehow knows my name.

I got 3 calls on my CELL PHONE from 801-765-5976 on 11/16/09. I looked up the number on the computer. I saw that it was from APX Alarms. I called the number & got a message to leave my name & number if I wanted it removed from their list. I did so. Today, 11/17/09 I got another call so I called again & did the same thing. Now they just called again!
ANYTHING I CAN DO ABOUT THESE HARASSING PHONE CALLS!
I THOUGHT THAT IT WAS ILLEGAL FOR TELEMARKETERS TO CALL CELL PHONES?

i just played a bunch of animal sounds on the computer for this fool.  comes up as Apex Alarm.  called twice today (first time we didn't answer).

They have been calling my cell 2 to 3 times a day for over a week. My number has been on the Do Not Call List since July, 2008. Everyone needs to file a compliant with the FTC.

Keeps calling and asking for someone who is not at this number.  Sometimes there is someone there when I answer, sometimes not.  I too am on the do not call list and do not appreciate these annoying phone calls!

i received 4 calls today, every 3 hrs. i have call the 1800# and requested my # be taken off the list. this is considered harassment!!!!!

I just called them and spoke to "Jennifer" in customer service. When I asked how they got my number she said it was probably a friend or family member that thought I would like to sign up with this great company! I said no family member or friend of mine would give my number to an alarm company.
I told her I was getting 7 calls a day, as late as 9pm, from this number and that constitutes harassment. She said she will pass on my name and number to the person responsible for calling and get my name removed.
Let's see what happens.
Next step is Utah Police. I'm at my wits end.

This company has been calling my home phone at least twice a day for over a month.  I have not answered, but am really frustrated.  I put my number on the Do Not Call list, but this still keeps happening.

call on my cell phone everyday. i never answer it. but its annoying. but the next time i will answer it but it wont be nice on what i will say to him.

Beware! - this so-called ‘APX Security’ (801-765-5976) is relentless in their repeated calling & ultra-annoying (esp since i’ve already asked them 3x to please Remove me from all their databases).  If you have call-blocker, use it.  i've been registered on DoNotCall.gov for ages & always re-register every 3 years or so, plus None of my friends/family would ever give out my# without permission, so this is total SCAM.. not only annoying but possibly illegal too, since they’re ignoring the federal government's DoNotCall list.. also these jerks should pay me back for my wasted cell phone minutes!!!

added irritation of unwanted calls from a so-called security company, when you live in a building that already has security, duh!!  possibly an illegal phishing SCAM???

already logged complaints with DoNotCall.gov & also emailed my complaint to BBB.org (Better Business Bureau) – what else can be done to stop these unwanted calls?

anyway, everyone be careful out there to avoid ID theft, & have a groovy new year, etc…

I have had a missed call from this number twice, just this afternoon. I didn't recognize the number, either. The first time, they did not leave a voice mail, so I figured it was a wrong number. The second time I pushed ignore button on my phone, so at least it didn't have time to go into my voice mail.I had a similar thing happen nearly 2 yrs. ago, and they "jumped" my wireless internet, when I answered it. We not longer have the internet on our phones, because of this.

calls from this number several times a day, silence, then 'counting down' 4-3-2-1- I think this is a telemarketer

They are APEX Security and they keep calling, even if you tell them you don't want the system in your house. I yelled at them yesterday hopefully they don't call again!!!!!!!!!!

I have also been getting about calls a day from this number for the past 2 weeks. Called them back and selected 4 to remove ny number from the call list and just voicemail. Very Very annoying. I files a complaint with the Do Not Call List website

I called them back and they claimed I filled out a request on the Internet to receive information. I have never used my phone number on the Internet and I am on the Do Not Call list.
