been called from this number numerous times over the past few days.  always leaves a voicemail that repeats - hello hello

I am tired of being solicited, called, and harassed during the day and night.  I will seek legal advice if the harassing calls do not stop!

I live in Florida and my house was broken into shortly after moving down here. We did not have an alarm yet but were planning on buying one at a later date. We started getting calls from 801-765-5976 for about 2 weeks prior to getting broke into They called everyday sometimes in the morning and sometimes in the evening. We never answered the phone and let the answering machine get the call. never did they leave a messege just continued to call several times a day, We thought they might ask what system we currently have and did not want anyone to know we did not have an alarm yet or what kind of protection devices we had on what doors or windows. The calls stopped the day after we got broke into..!! which leads me to believe that someone was calling us to see if we were home and at what time since we never answered they figured they could break in in the daytime which they did.
A person can call your home phone and display whatever number they want on your caller ID using a trick called Caller ID Spoofing. Search Google and you will see how easy it is. So my advice is to so all I can say is beware of callers calling all day and not leaving messeges or hanging up they might be trying to find out your habits and the hours your home. I asked the police to trace the number placed to my phone and see if it was from someone close by with a cell phone spoofing me as APX Alarm.They said that Verizon wanted to charge $2,000.00 to make a trace for the police at which they decided not to. Everyone beware of this scam.

I have been receiving this call many times during the day.  It says it is APEX Alarms.  I checked the number is it is from Provo Utah.  It becomes annoying when he or she calls many times during the day.

I'm so glad to see i'm not the only person getting so many annoying calls from this number! i haven't answered but they probably call 2 times a day for the past 2 weeks! anyone had any luck getting rid of this ANNOYING problem??

This number calls me everyday couple times a day!!! SOOOOOOOOOOO ANNOYING!!!

Excessive phone calls then hangs up.

Caller I.D. says Utah, and because I live in Canada, I don't answer it. Calls at all times of the day, two or three times a day. Has been calling for over a month now.......

I am tired of this number calling me all the time on my cell number it costs me money.

Keep getting calls too, thought that when you "opted out" your number wasn't released to telemarketers.....WTH?

I keep getting calls from 801-765-5976 two to three times a day. Never leaves a message. One time I did answer they asked for Drew. When I told them they had the wrong number, they hung up....but the calls keep coming.

Received a call from Apex Alarm who later came out and serviced me in more ways than one. They really mean it when they say they'll plug all of your security holes!

I hate to disappoint you boys but Cory told me he was already dating another guy. I know.. bummer!

this number has ben calling my cell for at least 2 weeks daily i have never answered maybe i will next time and see what happens

In my Google research I've linked this number also with "credit collection." I have received 120+ calls in two weeks! Thank goodness I give out a "junk" phone number that goes to a voicemail box only (like a spam email account) to businesses!!  I was one month behind in one credit card (by mistake--because my bank changed my account number), but I paid it today. Perhaps I will see these calls stop now? The credit card is with Bank of America. and I've never been late with a payment before. Not once. The state of our economy--harass every customer, even the good ones. Sigh.

These [***] have called me about 30 times in three days, asking for someone I've never heard of in regard to an alarm system.

This is a new alarm company who is trying to get people to sign up.  The company is called APX.  If you search them online they have very mixed reviews.  These people must have gotten your number from another company who sold your information.  So, if your kid got online and put your cell phone or home number down and used thier name..that would be why they are calling asking for your kid.  if you call the number back it goes to their company phone and you can remove yourself from their list if you are not interested.
