I've been getting calls from Ogden, Utah, at this number, usually at night, and several times a night, for the last few weeks.

Numerous calls (evenings) on home phone.  Just hangs up.  When I called the number back it said "all circuts are busy" or it give a busy signal.  Very annoying, disturbing.  Honolulu, HI.

Called up asking for my husband and if he could answer some questions about any past experiences he has had with Chase banks (he does have a Chase bank account).  I said he wasn't home and asked to take a message--thinking it might be the bank calling for him.  She said no and then asked if there was anyone else in the house who could talk about experiences they had in the past week dealing with Chase banks.  I said no, I don't have a bank account.  She said well, have you been to a Chase bank in the last week?  I said why, if I don't have a bank account, would I have been at a Chase bank..?  She hung up on me.

I called the number listed below to remove my number from Westernwats call group.  A lady answered and I explained to her I wanted off the list.  She asked for my number (lol) and said she would do it.  We'll see.

im a licensed computer repair business and got the same phone call. if you try calling back - of course nothing happens. i went through my tele log history and found a mesg i never listened to. it was a women who said, "h-h-hello? hmmmf uh uh...{inaudible}" and then hung up.

def sounded like encrypted phone software. very peculiar. you cant even call the number back!

received a call at work stating they were from Chase asking me to take a brief survey with the phone number 801-823-2020 this number does not work when you call back to verify

We have been receiving a call from 1-801-823-2020 everyday.  We do not answer the phone but we still receive the calls.  Sometimes these calls come through 2-3 times a day.

thank You for the "do not call" number.  We are on the "National Do Not Call" registry and should not be getting these calls anyway!  I called and left a message telling them that and if they call again, I will report them for violating it.

I've gotten 1 call per day, sometimes 2. Caller hangs up at outgoing message. Since I don't ans to 800 numbers (& their variations), I guess we ain't gonna connect.

Can I be part of class action suit vs these leeches? If so, how?

Called again and left no message.  Chase and WaMu are definitely now on our "Never-Do-Business-With" list!

Caller I.D. shows Ogden, UT.  Did not identify herself.  As stated above, I also believe these calls are coming from CHASE Bank (or a 3rd party hired by them), as the calls started within 3 days of opening 2 accts. with CHASE in late April 2009.  Wanted me to take a "short" survey.  Told her I didn't have time and hung up on her.  They've called 7 times since May 1st.  Here are the numbers these people have used to call me:

p.s. - Because I have bank accounts with CHASE, they are not bound by my being on the national "Do Not Call" list, at least until I contact them and make a formal request to stop calling me.

It doesn't matter if you're on the do not call list ... if it's from one of the accounts you own, they're allowed to call and pester you unless you ask to be removed. :(

They probably have predictive dialing.  They know it'll take 5 minutes per phone call, so when you're about 4:50 into a phone call, it'll dial the next number.  If their phone call runs longer than 5 minutes, you're just sitting there saying "hello hello" and then your number gets put back into the pool and you get called again.

Keep getting calls from this number asking for a registered voter.  They must think the answering machine is someone picking up.

I just got a call from this number. We actually get a call from them about once every few days, so it's nothing new. It seems kind of "phishy," if you ask me.

I recieved a phone call on 8/31 at 8:30pm CST. It was from 801-823-2020. A girl asked for someone but you could not make out who she was asking for. When asked again who she was wanting to talk to she hung up. Today at 8:33pm recieved another call from 801-823-2020. Did not answer this time but decided  to do a little research and came up with this blog. Nice to know I am not the only one getting calls from this number. Also, thanks for the "no call list" number. I do own a T-mobil phone; I do not have an accout with Washington Mutual nor do I have an account with Chase.
