If they continue to bother you, and you know you do not owe any money,  tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  You might have to yell at the scammer and talk over him or her.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.  If you can find them.

Been getting calls for "Michael Fox" off and on for a few years...Now a recorded message saying he will be served, gives case number and 804-420-4838 to call and speak to someone.  Sounded fishy to me, thanks for this website!

Like all of you I had several calls from this number warning of fraudulent activity and pending legal action

I've been receiving these calls for a week stating fraudulent activity and summons, thanks to this website I know that it is a bunch of BS.
I'd like to know if there is any legal recourse to burn these ________(fill in the blank with whatever colorful metaphor that you use).

I received the same voicemail and it had me very nervous also.

I RECIEVED THE SAME MESSAGE TWICE KNOW. In my opinion if we had fraudulent activity attached to our ss why summons us shouldn't they be trying help protect us.  I have checked my credit report and nothing unusual on there they have to be scamers.

I received a call and tried to return it and the number was not in service. I suppose this to be a scam.

I got a voice message today from this #..., said I was going to be served papers, I was scared... Tried to call them back, just got msg this is not a working '#..., I know I didn't have anything against me..., they must be stopped, I blocked the #

called my mother and left a voicemail saying someone had filed a complaint against and they acted like they were the lawyer :/ freaked her out.

I had a message waiting for me on my phone today from this number. Saying someone had filed a case  or something against me and that I would be summoned at my home or job. Gave me a case number and told me "I have been warned".

Nothing but idiots too lazy to work! !!! SCAM.......

I got a call from this number last week and another one yesterday. Saying I had 2 counts of fraudulent activity on my ss# and I would be served at work or my home. The first time they called I called back and sat on hold for an hour hung up and called again and it said the number was a non working number. This is absolutely ridiculous! People seriously need to get out and get real jobs!

I got the exact same message yesterday.  And, then it said this is your "official notice".  Whatever dudes

I got two calls today and the caller is just said 420. I didn't answer and they left no message. Anybody hear of this?
