I had the same exact phone call today around 3:00.  Said I had to fraud charges pending against my name and social security number. I am to call back and speak to their legal department to discuss matters. If I don't contact them the charges will be filed against me and once I am served at my job or my home I forfeit my rights and they left me a case number. I've called back numerous times it goes straight to voicemail and the voicemail is full. They did not leave the name of their company or the callers name.  trying to find out company name...

Voicemail that was left said -  i will have 2 charges filed against me today and I will be served with a summons either at my workplace or home, these are attached to my name and SS#.  I need to call their legal department back..

No name for company and part of the call is automated, blocking them.

I just reported this number to the FTC. Everyone needs to do this and put "Stacy Washington" (alias I am sure) out of business.

Yes it is.  Did you read the other notes?   This is just a debt scamming operation where someone cold-calls you and tells you that you have somehow committed a fraudulent act with your OWN SSN.  Stupid.    Ignore and block the calls.

Call blocker might help.  Also do not pick up on numbers you do not recognize.

    Report them:

    http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0149-debt-collection

Also contact your local attorney general

If they continue to bother you, and you know you do not owe any money,  tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  You might have to yell at the scammer and talk over him or her.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.

It can't be "straightened out".  About all you can do is invest in a call blocker.

There is no Goldman and Associates.  This is a made-up name they use.  They will not tell you their address.  Total scam.  Block the calls.

Most likely they are spoofing an existing business.

Report a phone call from 804-420-4838:

The company that called you.
