Recorded call stating this will be my last call to lower credit card rates. I got the same call yesterday but from a different number. Caller ID shows Virginia call.I have no credit cards.

I had a call from this number Thursday--I wasn't home.  I wouldn't have answered anyway as it didn't have a name attached on the caller ID.

So, lets see which Florida non-compliant telemarketers are hiring the usually abusive, harassing, threatening, but most likely really stupid;

“L.I. (Lower Interest) Fronters“, AKA- live operator, or card service representative.
“L.I. qualifiers and closers” “L.I. Rooms, L.I. Reps”.  (Search in your area, they're hiding everywhere)

And they tend to disappear fast, so save screen shots now.

I'll never understand why people keep mentioning the DNC list, as if it actually means anything. By now, anybody who thinks the DNC is worth spit has got to be a dreamer. The DNC was created and watered down by Congress to get people to STFU. It is designed as a pretense and a great place to over-employ their lowest IQ friends and relatives' kids. Since the jobs entail doing nothing, they can't do any harm.

People are going to have to face reality that the DNC is not there for them. We are on our own. I urge you to buy a call blocker and stop waiting for Congress to do anything useful other than squander your money for their own gain.

The DNC does do its job and works just fine! It does what it was meant to do. People tend to really misunderstand how it works and generally do not understand that the DNC does not protect you from the scams,frauds,extortionists and the unscrupulous nasty's that refuse to obey laws. Charity's and political, along with some survey's are exempt from this.  Most of those will place you on the their internal DNC if asked though and there is a political DNC (it works very well too I might add) list you can sign up with.  

Complaints filed with the DNC and other agency's are used to establish a pattern, then they can take action. They do make busts, they do fine them, and they do make arrests. You also need to realize that some of these bad actors are located in foreign country's and then their government has to work with ours. Slow it may be, but it does happen!

The more complaints filed, the more info they have to go on!

DNC board cruisers: You sure are good at  quickly finding complainers and posting on boards such as this one. Why not try it on the offenders instead of your legitimately unhappy customers? In the REAL world,  If the customer isn't happy then you are NOT doing your job and your customer is NOT getting what he paid for! How many of us spent this last election day completely infuriated by all the politicians' lackeys spamming our phones and robo-calling us? We don't like that because we are obviously stupid --not because they are 'exempt'. What we would really like to see isn't a list of links we've seen before. What we would like to see is a list of the telemarketer lobbyists and how much money they contributed to their Congressional recipients' campaigns. Now THOSE are links we'd love to see.

If our government can troll our phones and our emails and collect every piece of data on simply everyone anytime they want, they could troll these callers. We shouldn't need to take 'screen shots' or use the data wisely or unwisely. That's THEIR job, not our job. And even if we did take those screen shots, exactly what would anybody do with them? Answer: The same thing they do with the rest of our complaints. The DNC bunch is so bright, they had to run a contest to get somebody else to give them ideas on how to stop these calls. For $100 Digitone  call blocker does a better job than they do and we don't have to give their employees lifetime benefits.

When Congress wrote and watered down that DNC law, they already knew the ins and outs of robo-calling, since they are right on schedule every single year using it to spam voters' phones.Meanwhile, what you are seeing on this forum every single day is a huge indicator that THE CUSTOMER ISN'T HAPPY. If a private company operated this way, they would be out of business by now. Meanwhile, please stop insulting us by telling us we are unhappy with the DNC program because we are so dumb we need some links to smarten us up. We're not happy. THAT's the bottom line.

Got the "final" notice call today on my cell. That's the 4th time in three weeks. I guess final does not mean final. I suppose it depends what we mean by final. Just like it depends on what your definition of "is" is. The DNC list is a joke. Why even bother? The scammers will always find a way around it. Just blow a whistle in their ear or when you get a real person, you can say "there's blood everywhere, but the job is done". Then hang up!

I and a lot of others use the DNCL.  It's the DNCL list people who do not enforce it.  Has anyone EVER been fined or otherwise punished for violating the DNCL?  I doubt it.

What good is being on the DNC list?  Nothing stops these people.

I agree with many call victims here that the National DoNOTCall.gov is a big joke & waste of tax payer money. With all the junk calls, I have made a "National Blocked Phone Numbers" list. This number 804-554-6347 is one of them.

Two calls from this number so far this morning, Nov 13 2013. No message.  I never pick up if I don't recognize name or number so they are wasting their time. Unfortunately they are also wasting mine.

I received a call from 800-554-6347 today (November 13, 2013). The automated msg said my offer to lower credit card interest is expiring and to hang on for more info. I waited for live voice and told the lady to Please remove me from your list. She fast hung up. This is bad business!!

Missed a call from 804-554-6347, middle of the afternoon. Caller ID showed: "RICHMOND VA". No message left.
