I, too, just started receiving voicemail notifications on my MetroPCS phone from 805-637-7243.  They leave no message and it is annoying. I am particularly concerned about the security of the METROPCS phones since there are so many users complaining about the same exact thing. I think MetroPCS needs to be accountable to their customer base and provide a secure solution to this issue.

MetroPCS runs on the T-Mobile network.

This too is happening to me. I am unable to change the vm number.

My phone didn't ring but I was left with a voice message trying to sell me a cruise to the Bahamas. I really wish somebody could shut these jerks down.

This exact number left a message to me that they were the IRS and they were suing me LOL I have no problems with IRS this is bogus

Phone rings once. When I answer, it disconnects.

This person called me and I would like to know what's his or her name and I have no idea so I just wanted to come here and see who this person was he might be he or she might be in the same grade as me cuz I am in 6th grade the number 637-7243 was not in my contacts so I don't know how this person found me or how they found my number
