This number called my little sister saying that she needed to send $5 to an address in Arizona and said that they would track her down and find her if she didn't send it to them. Not to mention my sister is 10 and scared to death from it.

this number keeps calling me and i hear music and when i call back it calls my voice mail

When my phone rang, it said I had a voice mail. I checked, and all I heard was a man groaning, the a hang up. When I called it, I heard 2 giggling girls.

Yeah, I just got a voicemail from this number. I have T-Mobile. There was no call, just a sudden voicemail. It sounded like a pocket dial. I could hear people talking and it sounded like the phone was moving around in a pocket. Once the message was over my voicemail closed out, without me pressing any buttons, before I could delete the message. I went to listen to it again so I could delete it before the message was over.

UMM..this number called me 10 times starting at 2:30am and i picked up twice and they didnt say anything. so tell me bright guy how is that your voicemail? they just called me today 5 times in a row  within the hour. it not your voicemail calling you to check it. it some prick that is playing a prank. I looked the number up on privacy star and it reported back to a lady name JACKIE CUSTER.

Checked my voicemail and this number was on it.  No way to find who sent the number to my phone or whatever.  Tried to erase it but it won't erase.

just got a call at 7:06AM 1-31-2011 on a tracphone

This person didnt call me but when they do I will be soooooo irritating. I dread the day that he does

I get this all the time on my T mobile cell.  It is a very short recorded, male or female voice saying "call at your earliest convience."  I now blocked it.  Yes, it is the no. for getting my voice mail messages.  It is so annoying to get junk calls on my cell, which I only use when I travel. I am too old for this nonsense!

My daughter has received 23 'voicemails' from this number in 3 days.  When she goes to her voicemail it is a garbled message, no recognizable voice.  IIf this is a TMobile # it is the first time I have seen it in 9 years of Tmobile service.

Four calls in the last 2 minutes.  Background noise, then heavy breathing.  Stopped when my husband picked up.  Yes it is the T-Mobile voicemail #!

I get that too and heard part of words and heard "pharmacy" and "refill now" No idea .I think its selling something though.Called back and they don't answer.

A month age the new sim is old t mobile had show up call to me. The t mobile is not work detail. I am is deaf. I am is fury.

There seems to be confusion as to why you would receive a call from this number..I got a call from this number and after researching it, this is the answer I have received...

As explained before, this is T-Mobile's "backdoor" voicemail number. Anyone, and I mean ANYONE can access this number..If you google Tmobile backdoor voicemail number searches will provide "805-MESSAGE". If they are calling from another T-Mobile phone it will simply take them to their voicemail, but if they are calling from a landline or other carrier, then it will prompt them to enter the 10 digit telephone number for whom they would like to leave a message. This allows the person to bypass actually calling your phone, and they can leave any number of messages. T-Mobile then alerts you by showing you you have a missed call from that number, so when you call it back it goes to your voicemail and you can check the message that was just left for you.

I've heard that some companies particularly enjoy using "backdoor" numbers as they are able to leave sales info. with you without having their sales pitch rejected.


Unfortunately, it would be equally as easy for someone to prank call you using this system. I'm not sure if there is a way to trace the actual phone number they are calling from,(someone previously said you could) but it's made prank calls easy.

It doesn't seem to be a glitch or even that T-Mobile's system has been hacked. It's just a service that T-Mobile, and many other carriers offer, and some people may choose to take advantage of for not-so-nice purposes.

It also doesn't appear that anyone's personal information (besides their phone number) has been compromised. Most people give more information than that on social networking sites, so while it may be eerie or strange to get calls like this (trust me, I know, I got a call this morning too which prompted me to do my search)..It sounds like some people just playing pranks if you get a weird message that appears to be from this number.

I have over 30 calls from this number.some 0min some 2.4min

I got a voice message from that number at 11:54 pm.  It sounded like machine gun fire. I tried to call back and always as get a busy signal.

yup, getting tons of annoying voice mails from this number, and also from "unknown" I still haven't figured this [***] out, but T-Mobile needs to get their [***] together and fix this. Seriously, this is incredibly annoying and disturbing.

do you know if i have to pay money when I receive a voicemail? I know this is true for texts.
