I got a call from 1-805-637-7243 today 8/6/2013 at 4.45 pm.

If you have T-Mobile, 805/637-7243 is the number to your voicemail.  If you call it, it will ask you for pin number.  You will then be able to retrieve your messages.

Calling and make threads very nasty calls.
No way to stop these callers.

I don't want someone to keep call me through my iphone or VP! Please block this person who keep call me all day few days. Quit!

I just got a voicemail from a 1-805-637-7243 and dude was trying to sound like an old man threatning me saying he let me in to use his restroom and wtf is this??

Who ever looks over this web site, if you have connections then please find out bout the name rosasteeves that sent me a friend invite on yahoo messanger, I've been getting weird numbers ever since.
She, if its a she probably another catfish target but they said their name was christy lindermen there mom was killed and her name was pearl lindermen, they also said there father name which also was killedboth in libya which is probably false but I don't remeber his first name.
They try to act like they need money to help a buisness from a WILL etc..
Hopefully this will help someone that's capable of investigating this.
Plus I think this might be a tmobile cell problem!

Its a tmobile and a google thing I believ as well.
There's apps and software that will let you messag, text and call people but input another number to pop up instead of the service they are using.
I know this because my friends and I would prank other friends of ours with it and that was well over 5 years ago so I'm assuming they learned new tricks to scam the world.

Got call from some [***] at 6:15 A.M. from this number.  I asked who it was and it was a southern accent said "take a guess".  I told him to f*** off and never call again, at any time of day.

If this is T-Mobile as all of these posts seem to indicate I will report them to every agency who can do something to get them in trouble.  It's bad enough that cell phone companies charge an arm and a leg for service, let alone having stupid [***] calling at all hours and playing stupid games, WASTING my minutes!!!  I tried to text it back to tell them to leave me alone and the text won't send which kind of does tell me it's T-Mobile because they won't allow the text to go through to a number that belongs to them.

You're right.  I couldn't "divert" or block the number from calling again.  That feature disabled for this specific phone number.  Now I'm convinced it has to be T-Mobile.  I guess I'm looking for new cell phone company.

This person seems to call everytime we walk out the door to our car. was told its on the gps locator.  we turned off the locator, no gps but no more calls either' Its a SCAM

My Gf recently received a voicemail from the tmobile backdoor voicemail number (805-637-7243), the funny thing is that it happened around 1:33am yesterday and the phone didnt ring or anything, it just went straight to voicemail. Needless to say, she was freaked out by the voicemail. She said it sounded like some guy in the distance yelling her name and then sounds like the phone was being dropped or moved around and then silence for like two minutes, after the silence she said two people were talking, it was a guy and a girl. The guy was saying to the girl "dont worry we will get you out of here" or something to that effect.

I realize someone is using the Tmobile voicemail backdoor number to spoof random peoples numbers and even harass them. I called Tmobile about it and they said there was nothing they could do because the number is "built into their system". Im positive they only know peoples names because of the caller ID associated with the number they call....which is why some people get weird calls with the wrong name being addressed in the voicemail.

I havent received any of these calls and I'm also with Tmobile. The only difference between me and my Gf is that she installs alot of apps. I believe the way the spoofers get the name associated with the number is through an app? I'm not very sure. I'm sure there are other ways someone can get the caller ID name associated with someones number.

Like the rest of you, I'm not amused. I will continue to research this and post back. I dont appriciate these [***] making my Gf scared.

on a side note I have read that google voice replaces your tmobile voicemail. I'm just curious if this makes it so the spoofers cant hide behind the backdoor voicemail number.

Tired to sell me a home alarm system.

This number called me 20 minutes ago, seconds after I got a call from a debt collector that calls my spare cell phone every so often.  Don't have vm set up
