Hi Tygerkat - Yikes, of course I wasn't thinking about 5 years ago, but the answer is a qualified Yes. Mint started in 2015 and would have had to contract with one of the national cell networks. And since T-Mobile seems the carrier of choice for a lot of smaller mobile companies, and since T-Mobile was convinced enough of Mint's profitability that they bought Mint's parent company this year (2023), it was probably the carrier 5 years ago.

All that irrelevant speculation from what was happening 5 years ago? Mint was bought by TMobile in March this year, so why would any of the circumstances surrounding this number 5 years ago warrant an off topic discussion now?

     T-Mobile is Mint's carrier. And was the carrier five years ago. You're absolutely right in your stylistic critique: I should have been more succinct.  I dont know if you can ever forgive me, but for you, I will try harder.

You still persist with this irrelevant off topic nonsense that is mere speculation on your part. Mint was an independent virtual network that had Leases with multiple carriers to use their cell towers, as many still do. They don't use another carriers numbers, they use their own. So it is either a Mint number OR it is a T-Mobile number, but it wouldn't have been a Mint number using a T-Mobile number. For the record, it is a T-Mobile number for their subscribers which forwards incoming calls to a Voice Messaging system.
