- Jessie Jthey had no business calling was a debt from a lawsuit that we were appealing and the appeal literally was stricken days after I filed it- when we got notification of the stricken appeal - we paid 100% of the suit immediately the same day. why is Jennifer Pratt from this agency calling a week after we received notice AND PAID it. Bad practice, we are not the type of people who dodge debt collectors and now reading these descriptions and understanding what type of company it is ...they cannot be legit as this was not a due bill - ever nor was this a corporate lawsuit- it was a landlord tenant dispute that instead of spending time and money to fight we decided to just pay to make it go away and not waste time nor put more money in the legal system's pockets. I am reporting to the BBB

- not scammed by Emerge 180| 1 replygot a call from a James Perry of Emerge 180 referencing a file number and saying that he can "help" with a situation involving a lawsuit. He's not an attorney, his company has absolutely nothing to do with the legal matter he referenced in the voice mail. I concluded that this firm must keep tabs on new lawsuits and contact the parties involved to somehow scam them into unnecessary services. They have some kind of b/s facebook page with no information about the people who work there or anything substantive about what they do. The phone number he left was 727-201-2784. Avoid avoid. and Shame on them.

- Knott A. Victim replies to not scammed by Emerge 180Got a similar call today from the same name and phone number on our home voice mail saying the same thing about a company whose name is close to but not actually the name of an enterprise a friend is involved in. Tried to call back; got voice-mail.
Incidentally, in checking them out I learned that Emerge 180 has 5 Better Business Bureau complaints against it, all resolved, none in the last 12 months. (One of the plaintiffs registered as unsatisfied with the resolution; the others accepted it. The "resolution" was pretty much a lame apology from what I can see.) Also, someone from the company has been responding to complaints whose English grammar is not the best. In short, this operation smells funny. (I still would like to know how, with all our phone numbers on the Do Not Call list, they got our number in connection with a marginally-related business at best.) - Hello replies to Jonathan FieldAs president, do you think you can tell your employees how to spell judgment? I mean, seriously, if you are going to help people negotiate their debts after a lawsuit is filed, then employ people who can read, spell and at least sound like they are knowledgeable.
- DawnI have been getting continuous calls from this number and they keep leaving voice mails to be called back. It is harassing and I have no idea where they get their information because I do not know what they are talking about. Apparently, neither do they!!

- jupmodIn the past two weeks, my Caller ID showed I gotten a call from Emerge 180 at phone number 727-304-4384. I checked online and found this complaint page that mentioned this company used *several* phone numbers to call people. When I checked Emerge 180, I found they are a financial business company that help businesses. I find this odd, given I do not own a business at all or owe anyone any money. I think this is a complex scam, given none of this Emerge 180's 'representatives' bother to give any legit info here on 800notes.

- Mamjojo replies to Matt| 2 repliesYes, they need to clue the folks making the initial calls to be more discreet. Totally agree. But this company is legit and saved me many times in my business.Twice they were aware of a lawsuit before I was. I ignored their calls the first time. The second lawsuit: they made another nuisance lawsuit go away for a flat fee. If you are in business you know: everyone thinks you have bottomless pockets and/or the insurance company will pay.And if the insurance company pays I can count on increased premiums. They saved me on a sub that didn't finish his job (and homeowner wouldn"t pay me because of unfinished job) but the sub sued to be paid.(yep, say it: WTH?)
My attorney told me he would rep me (last time: $250 an hour and I had to settle for 12k to stop bleeding attorney fees). They charged $600 and got it settled. Annoying sales pitch but highly recommend! - TheRealSeriously replies to MamjojoProbably getting sued all the time because you're a dumb SHILL who lies all the time. Ever think THAT is the issue?
- BigA replies to MamjojoFrom the posts in this thread i see they have a habit of hiring illiterate shills. there seems to be quite a few of them here. If this is the quality of people that are actually business owners, then there is no question as to why they can't pay their bills I find it hard to believe though that the posters here who can't even form an acutual coherent sentence are really people who own a business.

- Anonymous (for good reason)I received a call today with (erroneous) information that we had a massive lawsuit filed against us in a county in which we do not reside, or do business. One that we mysteriously have not been contacted about our served papers for. The case number, filing date, complainant, and amount were all disclosed. It took a very simple Google search to find the business for which I'm fairly certain they intended to contact. Not only is it distressing to receive the call in the first place, as we have not one cent of outstanding debt, but even more so that as an uninvolved 3rd party that they would have this information in the first place. Disclosure of another business's financial issues is troubling, but then it is public record. However, rest assured, if there is an unlawful privacy violation taking place, or even simply unlawful business practices, I will make it my personal mission to see that they are prosecuted. I digress. This practice leads me to believe that they are searching these databases to cold call the plaintiffs in an attempt garner their business. This has me livid and I will get to the bottom of it. Apparently, we're in the 5% as purported by the owner. An apology will not suffice. I'm a busy man but I'll make time to get to the bottom of this even if it means involving the Florida attorney general. Lastly, on a personal note, any business owner knows that hiding behind an A+ rating from the BBB is anything but impressive. You paid for that rating. You haven't heard the last from me.

- AmandaEmerge 180 is a scam looking for confidential financial information. They will make it sound like it's very urgent they speak with you regarding this matter. They claim to know something about the matter that they can't tell you, but you need to tell them the information they need. Do not trust them!!
